We talked to Abdul Rafay on how CreatifSoft stands out from the rest and he had the following to say about it.
First of all, how are you and your family doing in these COVID-19 times?
Abdul Rafay: We are doing great, and are safe and healthy, thank you for asking.
Every crisis brings challenges and threats to entrepreneurs and their businesses, and so has this Covid-19. We live in Pakistan, and this pandemic has been very challenging. As the lockdown started from March 2020, we all had to start working from home, which became like a co-working space for the time of lockdown.
As a family, we used COVID-19 to spend quality time with family, along with being innovative in our business and focus on some new projects to create more opportunities for unemployed people in this pandemic.
Tell us about you, your career, how you founded CreatifSoft.
Abdul Rafay: I stepped into the industry as an employee with many hopes. As I progressed in my career, I kept notes of what worked well for the employees, what did not, and how a company can supercharge its success. These notes led me to where I am standing today, running a platform where people with different capabilities, stories, and aspirations come together to strive for a share division.
Creatif Soft is truly a reflection of my dream to create a place where employees can foster their professional growth while having fun and getting the value of their hard work. Sometimes all it takes is an idea and a will to take risks. Creatif Soft started with unparalleled confidence to make the best out of the opportunities available in the market.
Today, the company is thriving with the same core but more dedication and improved goals. We are committed to providing only the best services to the customers while making the best use of the local talent. My underlying aim revolves around creating opportunities for freshers, students, as well as expert individuals so that they can shape their career in a fruitful manner. At CreatifSoft, we work together but also grow together to MAKE GREAT THINGS HAPPEN.
How does CreatifSoft innovate?
Abdul Rafay: Humbled by the beginnings, driven by passion, and always ready to beat you at a cricket game, the thinkers and makers at CreatifSoft are the ones who make our services the best of the best. We make no empty promises when it comes to excellence. Instead, we let our work speak for itself. Our satisfied customers are not less than pride for us. CreatifSoft acquires a robust portfolio that not only represents the diverse skills of our teams but, our projects also depicts the efforts that our experts exert to sustain and to build long-term business relations with our potential customers. Our exhibited achievements are itself a rational proof of our exceptionality.
How the coronavirus pandemic affects your business, and how are you coping?
Abdul Rafay: Like other businesses, this coronavirus pandemic affected CreatifSoft, but we somehow managed to convert this challenge into an opportunity to look for ways to support our people mental and emotional wellbeing. The pandemic affected many people by taking their jobs. At that time, we tried to create more job opportunities to support people mentally during this crisis. So, when companies were cutting down their no. of employees, we managed to hire more people, supporting work from home.
Did you have to make difficult choices, and what are the lessons learned?
Abdul Rafay: Life is all about learning…there are times that we all need to make difficult choices, and yes, during COVID -19, we also faced hard times. It was so difficult to manage our work at the start. Working from home was something that was a kind of new thing as we needed to manage our employees in a different environment that was comparatively different from the office. During COVID, various businesses were downsizing; but we did not…we decided to give job opportunities and hired new employees rather than shrinking our staff. We kept our different expansion plans on hold and focused on the resources we got that time.
We learnt to remain strong financially…we believe that we should have some backup plans as well…for example, we must have the financial resources in reserve for at least 1 year so that we can face the difficult conditions in a more effective way.
How do you deal with stress and anxiety, how do you project yourself and CreatifSoft in the future?
Abdul Rafay: Stress and anxiety is a common problem in our society. There are different ways in which I deal with such conditions. Like I do some mind relaxing activities, keep myself busy and try not to overthink. There are times when I become so frustrated, but when I see my family and my employees, then I think that they all would be affected if I won’t keep myself relax and composed. Panic is not the solution as it makes the things worst. So, whenever I feel that something is bothering me so much; so I try to identify the main reason that would lead me towards the resolution of the problem. I am so satisfied with the current progress of my company, and I feel that I have projected myself so well. With the passion for excelling, providing new opportunities to my employees and sharing our success with them, I believe that we are going to achieve all the goals with a very successful future ahead.
Who are your competitors? And how do you plan to stay in the game?
Abdul Rafay: All businesses have competitors and knowing who they are is really important to stand out. As a digital marketing agency, we have many competitors; however, we plan to be a tough competition to them and stay in the game by being true and innovative to address our customers’ needs and goals. At a time when digital trends are taking a 360-degree shift, we use a blend of skids and vision to help brands grow up and above.
Your final thoughts?
Abdul Rafay: Whatever we learn from our experiences; whether it is good or bad, definitely help us to explore the better side of us. I believe that we are moving on the right track and would like to see my company growing and flourishing in the same way. No matter how difficult the situation is; it is our choice to give up or face the challenges by keeping ourselves steadfast.
