INNOVATORS VS COVID 19
COVID-19 Survival: A Head Start to Digital Transformation

Ajay Kumar, CEO & Co-Founder of Appventurez tells us about bridging the gap between ideas and reality with transformative, compelling, and innovative mobile app development.
First of all, how are you and your family doing in these COVID-19 times?
Ajay Kumar: COVID-19 has been a bane to not only professionals but also to every individual across the globe. My family and I are following every single guideline to stay safe and secure from COVID-19.
Since the day the government announced lockdown in the entire nation, we started maintaining social distancing even if we were staying together. Wearing masks, periodic sanitization, and an immunity-oriented diet – we are doing every possible thing during this pandemic.
Tell us about you, your career, how you founded Appventurez?
Ajay Kumar: Being a techpreneur, I was always fond of innovative technologies, innovations, and ideologies. I started my career as a software developer, I have learned a lot about this niche. After successful years of employment in the IT industry, I established a professional, full-fledged mobile app development company with the help of my dear friends in 2018 – well-known as Appventurez.
The company now has 170+employees working on several technologies like the Internet of Things, Augmented & Virtual reality, blockchain, cloud solutions, and many more. With 100+ clients and projects from across the globe, the company has established a stable footprint in the industry.
How does Appventurez innovate?
Ajay Kumar: Appventurez experts stay well aware of the latest technologies that are currently dominating the industry. They work on innovative ideologies that can solve real-world problems and help businesses level up their performance.
Our teams collaborate with the clients to know their core requirements and build futuristic solutions to meet their expectations. Moreover, they stick with the agile development approach that can help to reach success at the end of the project.
How does the coronavirus pandemic affect your business finances?
Ajay Kumar: During the pandemic, both employment and industries suffer. The lockdown period has forced businesses to shut their processes, which directly affected revenues, productivity, and overall performance.
Fortunately, Appventurez and some of the other firms made a way out to cope up with the situation. We attain remote working guidelines to keep the business flow stable, even in a pandemic. Our clients also appraised the efforts our teams put in during these crucial times and stayed connected digitally with them.
Did you have to make difficult choices regarding human resources, and what are the lessons learned?
Ajay Kumar: On one hand, people are losing their jobs, but we understood the situation pretty well and helped individuals by hiring them in the pandemic. Our achievements during the pandemic made us hire more skilled individuals that strengthened our teams.
This step was a big challenge for the human resource department, but the job has been done pretty well.
How did your customer relationship management evolve? Do you use any specific tools to be efficient?
Ajay Kumar: We believe in delivering business values along with quality. Customer satisfaction is very crucial for us, and the implementation of advanced technologies has helped us evolve this process. We followed these factors for evolving customer relationship management:
- Workflow automation
- Staying connected digitally.
- Better decision-making with AI & ML
- Enhanced analytics for tracking customer’s journey
- Secure documentation management
In addition, we always keep an eye on the latest CRM trends that can improve the ethics of maintaining our relationship with our precious customers.
Did you benefit from any government grants, and did that help keep your business afloat?
Ajay Kumar: From the year of establishment, Appventurez never needed any government funding or never received any respective benefit. The company always withholds a strong footprint in the industry with its financial resources.
Your final thoughts?
Ajay Kumar: Taking a look back at 2020, there were several instances where I felt disheartened for the individuals who lost their jobs, employment, and even lives. But keeping hope for the betterment of situations gave the strength to tackle the challenges.
The survival of this pandemic couldn’t be possible for Appventurez without the efforts of every single individual. I hope that every industry, business, and startup will recover soon from this situation, and everything becomes stable again.
