First of all, how are you and your family doing in these COVID-19 times?
Amol Meshram: Thanks for asking. Actually with the god’s grace, my family, myself, and even the extended one (friends and relatives) are all safe and well. In fact, just a few days back, my sister gave birth to a little angel (my niece), and she is well too. I understand that the situation is not the same for all of us, and the whole world is facing huge consequences. Our prayers are with everyone who has been adversely affected. We all pray for this to get over soon.
Tell us about you, your career, how you founded Bizwit Research & Consulting LLP.
Amol Meshram: I have done B. Tech in ‘Electronics’ and M.B.A. in ‘Finance’. I have always wanted to be financially independent , and have always believed in my capabilities. With this idea in mind, I built this organization in 2017. SInce then, I am learning every day. Even after 3 years of a successful operation, I still face challenges, both small or big, and I am learning a lot. This is what helps us to keep on growing.
How does Bizwit Research & Consulting LLP innovate?
Amol Meshram: We are a market research firm, and we conduct primary and secondary research in order to enrich our reports with the most appropriate market sizing information. We do so using a unique set of AI-based tools which offers real-time change in any estimates with respect to changes in the parameters. For example, COVID-19 has affected every industry either positively or negatively. At the same time, our AI tools are appropriately predicting the change in growth rates for them.
How the coronavirus pandemic affects your business, and how are you coping?
Amol Meshram: We closely work with various partners from all around the world; thus, any impact in their business has evidently affected our sales. However, we have experienced some recovery on demand in the last two months which seems promising but will take a significant amount of time.
Did you have to make difficult choices, and what are the lessons learned?
Amol Meshram: Yes, in fact, we do make difficult or wrong choices. One of the toughest lesson learnt is that we should not rely on someone else to accomplish something we don’t have any idea or experience. It’s important to have firsthand experience on every on it.
How do you deal with stress and anxiety? How do you project yourself and Bizwit Research & Consulting LLP in the future?
Amol Meshram: Staying close with your loved one, whether it’s your girlfriend, wife or family helps a lot. In the time of stress, I usually call my girlfriend and talk about anything but work (we laugh and sometimes make fun of each other and mostly makes fun out of me). This helps me to reduce my stress and anxiety. Listening to good music helps too.
I am now at that stage of life where a good work-life balance is desired, so I am working upon that. In the coming years and with the company’s growth and expansion, I would intend to keep the work-life balance on priority to be happy in life.
Who are your competitors? And how do you plan to stay in the game?
Amol Meshram: We have a long list of competitors, but we also have various strategic partnerships which will help us in the long run. Innovation is also important, and that is something we are keenly interested with, so we’ll keep on working on it continually.
Your final thoughts?
Amol Meshram: Due to the pandemic, the whole world is facing difficulties and losses. But we have to understand, we can, and will rise from the situation with even greater strength. We just need to keep our hopes up, stay positive, and safe.
At this stage, the global economy is also on its way to recovery, so fellow entrepreneurs around the world should focus on opportunities on their way too. Just look for them and grow with them.
Best of luck! Stay blessed
