First of all, how are you and your family doing in these COVID-19 times? 

Andrej Dula: The pandemic has obviously affected businesses, relationships, and daily lives. But I am trying not to allow to be influenced by circumstances that I cannot control.

Tell us about you, your career, how you founded Rezztek.

Andrej Dula: I am an entrepreneur for the last ten years. I wanted to combine my entrepreneurial experience with my passion for sports, so Rezztek was an easy choice. I am enjoying building a company that aims to revolutionize hockey.

How does Rezztek innovate? 

Andrej Dula: Rezztek aims to revolutionize hockey by developing a new material that replaces hockey tape with a performance-enhancing material that allows full player customization and creates an advertising platform.

How the coronavirus pandemic affects your business, and how are you coping?

Andrej Dula: The world of sports stopped during the pandemic. Over this period, we have shifted our focus to developing new use cases for our technology in an area less affected by COVID19.

Did you have to make difficult choices, and what are the lessons learned?

Andrej Dula: Yes, immediately after the pandemic started, we had to re-evaluate our launch plans, optimize our costs to prolong our runway, and be even more creative in the process.

How do you deal with stress and anxiety?

Andrej Dula: With sports – always an answer for stress and anxiety relief

Who are your competitors? And how do you plan to stay in the game?

Andrej Dula: Our main competitor is the traditional tape that is a market standard. However, it does not do anything for the player’s performance, which is why our material gains traction among pro players.
