First of all, how are you and your family doing in these COVID-19 times?

Anthony Fantinati: It’s okay, but I’m worried about the future of my family, business, and that of many other companies facing challenges.

Tell us about you, your career, how you founded Ubip.me.

Anthony Fantinati: I began my career by doing cold/air conditioning, and I decided to redirect myself to something that suited me better: commerce. I then passed my diplomas BAC and BTS negotiation and consumer relationship in alternation with working in a computer science company for 4 years. At the end of this, I decided to join my brother’s company, which specialized in website creation, named Khélios. Thanks to 12 years of experience, Khélios and partners decided to create our project: Ubip.me.

How does Ubip.me innovate?

Anthony Fantinati:  Ubip.me proposed a solution to make waiting lines digital. It contributes to social distancing because users can wait in different ways and in places where they would like (Coffee, park, home, car).

How the coronavirus pandemic affects your business, and how are you coping?

Anthony Fantinati: We don’t have so many consumers, and we are closer to laboratories carrying out the Covid test. People can stand in a waiting line for 4 hours or more. So we try to install our solution to limit waiting for the patient. We try marketing our services to many businesses by sending them emails informing them that we have something to help with their waiting lines.

Did you have to make difficult choices, and what are the lessons learned?

Anthony Fantinati: For the moment, we have no great difficulties when making choices, but we know that it will come in the future, and we’ll learn from them.

How do you deal with stress and anxiety?

Anthony Fantinati: I don’t sleep much, and I don’t try to think about it. I stay focused on the essentials such as marketing ubip.me.

Who are your competitors? And how do you plan to stay in the game?

Anthony Fantinati: Some of our competitors are filevirtuelle.com, wavetec.com, yoobic.com, Lineberty.com, Qmatic.com, and Queueall.com, among others. They don’t offer similar services to us. We have an app to install on smartphones, and not all of them work with it. They are really expansive while we have a free version for everyone who wants to use it. We will complete this version with paid features and adapt it to the clients’ needs.

Therefore, we are unique, and our solution meets our users’ needs. They can also download it from the website.

Your final thoughts?

Anthony Fantinati: We have no extra time, and nowadays, every minute is precious.
