First of all, how are you and your family doing in these COVID-19 times?
Anuprasad.sg: We are doing good.
Tell us about you, your career, how you founded Vivesty Green.
Anuprasad.sg: I’m from Kerala, an environmental engineer passionate about solving environmental problems using technology and science. I have 8 years of experience in sanitation and solid waste management.
How does Vivesty Green innovate?
Anuprasad.sg: We are working on the sanitation segment where cleaning and recycling of water will be done on autonomous devices.
Our toilets will work without any human intervention and external water supply.
How does the coronavirus pandemic affect your business finances?
Anuprasad.sg: Yes, we were affected severely due to Covid, we lost few businesses and funding opportunities, but we are in the reviving mode and hope everything will go according to plan.
Did you have to make difficult choices regarding human resources, and what are the lessons learned?
Anuprasad.sg: Yes, we do. We started working remotely, and that gave more results, and we have reduced team strength by 20%.
How did your customer relationship management evolve? Do you use any specific tools to be efficient?
Anuprasad.sg: We have increased in online business, and we started using more online tools and media for customer interaction.
Did you benefit from any government grants, and did that help keep your business afloat?
Anuprasad.sg: We have received funding from IIMK LIve and MRPL.BIRAC Sparsh fellowship, and we are in the final stage of the Kerala Agricultural University PACE program.
