First of all, how are you and your family doing in these COVID-19 times? 

Ashish Biyani: Thanks a lot for asking. Our families are doing well & staying safe. We followed all the safety measures when Covid 19 was at its peak. Luckily, so far, everything is the way it was before the pandemic.

Tell us about you, your career, how you founded DeskMoz.com.

Nishant Singhvi: Our company, DeskMoz, provides 24×7 Managed Live Chat Agents Support & Sales Leads Generation service.

How does DeskMoz.com innovate? 

Ashish Biyani: We innovate in all the ways & means, which involves exploring & enhancing the hidden potential of our amazing workforce & the way the technology around them evolves.

Our goal is to maximize the synergy between our workforce & technology to the extent where businesses across the globe start seeing 24×7 managed live chat support as more of an imperative investment & less of an insignificant expense.

How does the coronavirus pandemic affect your business finances?

Nishant Singhvi: Just like all the businesses across the globe, our business runs as swiftly & smoothly as the businesses of our clients.

Our clientele is an assorted box. This resulted in losses, but with every day passing, we are growing back stronger.

Did you have to make difficult choices regarding human resources, and what are the lessons learned?

Ashish Biyani: We did come across many situations wherein the easy & economical option was a lay-off, but we see DeskMoz as a group of friends who happen to be working together for something colossal.

Friends help each other get up & go through the tough times. So, we did cost-cutting some other ways to keep this big machine running but didn’t ask any of our team members to get off.

Lesson learned; tough time shows the true mettle.

How did your customer relationship management evolve? Do you use any specific tools to be efficient?

Nishant Singhvi: We use a couple of CRMs & all of them are the top-line ones. They keep evolving as per the trends & requirements.

Did you benefit from any government grants, and did that help keep your business afloat?

Ashish Biyani: Not on a large scale, but they did come up with some innovative schemes to help businesses stay afloat. We are grateful for their gesture as we completely understand that it is a tough time for the government as well.
