Bonnie Bruderer BINGE Networks

We talked to Bonnie Bruderer of BINGE Networks about the syndication and monetization platform.

First of all, how are you and your family doing in these COVID-19 times?

Bonnie Bruderer: We are doing great. I actually have a baby daughter who was born in the midst of COVID. She came out of the hospital the week our state locked down. It has been a gift and a blessing to have this time to focus on family and staying safe. Three people in my family have had COVID so far, and we are very thankful that all recovered and are doing well. Our thoughts and prayers are with our clients and their families and this nation, as we all get through this together.

Tell us about you, your career, how you founded BINGE Networks.

Bonnie Bruderer: I am the founder of BINGE Networks. I created the syndication and monetization platform as we were a TV show and quite successful at monetizing content using OTT networks.

As the Founder of BINGE Networks extensive, my resume spans from a successful Entrepreneur. I was selected as one of the Top 30 CEOs of 2020 by the Silicon Review. My company has won the Innovation & Excellence Award, Top Blog Award, and Best Streaming and Monetization Platform 2020, with multiple other awards in the past two years. I’m a certified Corporate Performance Coach from Columbia University, Business Marketing Strategist, Renowned Speaker, Branding Consultant, Senior Mentor for The Anthony Robbins Companies & Life Mastery Event Director in Namale, Fiji, to 4x Author, Triathlete & Ironman Finisher, to name a few. I have been a guest on NBC, ABC, FOX, The New Morning Show, and other high-profile media outlets. In addition, I’m an avid dog-lover and the inventor of Dirty Dog Antibacterial Paw Spray, and the Founder of Disrupted Momma, a foundation, blog, and web site that advocates for change in the adoption industry. My biggest accomplishment to date is the mom of Olive Grace, my 6-month old little girl.

How does BINGE Networks innovate?

Bonnie Bruderer: Any way that is needed. We have had to pivot and change models many times. We started as a pay-for-play TV show, then produced other shows, then launched the syndication network. When COVID hit, we saw that our clients would be struggling, so we immediately added a sales agent side to our business, seeking streaming deals and licensing. We are proud to say we have made more money for our clients since COVID started than at any other time. We continue to work tirelessly for our clients to create revenue streams.

How the coronavirus pandemic affects your business, and how are you coping?

Bonnie Bruderer: We have been very fortunate to work in an industry that has grown since the pandemic started (streaming). Streaming behavior has grown exponentially since the pandemic started, and we have closed more deals for our clients than ever before. Also, having to close our offices in Miami and Atlanta has been a blessing. Our core team is self-motivated, diligent, and responsible and thriving working from home. In the above answer, we shared how we added a sales agent division for our company, earning new revenue streams daily for our clients.

Did you have to make difficult choices, and what are the lessons learned?

Bonnie Bruderer: I make difficult choices every single day. That may sound dramatic, but it is true. With the evolution of both the OTT industry and our company, we have changed revenue models and constantly pivot. I have learned that if you believe in your vision and your choices and are willing to work hard enough, anything is possible.

How do you deal with stress and anxiety, how do you project yourself and BINGE Networks in the future?

Bonnie Bruderer: Peleton and Masterclass. Every morning, I watch a few Masterclass episodes, so I am always learning something new. I also invested in a Peloton when the pandemic started, and that helps to keep me sane. Since we are in the streaming industry, we do our best to support other companies that are too.

Who are your competitors? And how do you plan to stay in the game?

Bonnie Bruderer: There are dozens of streaming companies and many companies that provide some sort of APP building and distribution. We are extremely unique in that we are a full-service media streaming and syndication company. I do not know of any other service that offers all of the components we do, represents 118 TV networks and has the sales agent side.

Your final thoughts?

Bonnie Bruderer: We have accomplished the unimaginable with no funding and a skeleton team. I believe anything is possible if you are willing to work hard enough for it and sacrifice for it.
