We talked to Charles Linden of theLindenMethod about its online support community during the pandemic.
First of all, how are you and your family doing in these COVID-19 times?
Charles Linden: We are doing fine. We have provided key worker support all through, so the family was roped in to support the millions of people with mental illnesses.
Tell us about you, your career, how you founded theLindenMethod.
Charles Linden: I was a mental health sufferer from 1972 till 1996. On discovering the solution for my issues, I started the world’s first online davcility to deliver professional, structured recovery practice for those suffering from disordered emotions.
How does theLindenMethod innovate?
Charles Linden: First online, app, web-app mental health support, recovery, and training organization. We provide ‘always there’ services to guide people to recover from a wide range of mental health issues, all supported by our professional team. We also provide Recovery Retreats and Workshops.
How the coronavirus pandemic affects your business, and how are you coping?
Charles Linden: We had to work from remote locations, so we set up IP phone systems across our team and seamlessly moved to that system. Clients were not left without the access and professionalism we have come known for.
Did you have to make difficult choices, and what are the lessons learned?
Charles Linden: We provided key workers with free program access. The notable difference is that suffering has increased 20 fold, and solution-focused services are the only way forward. We are the only provider of solution-focused psycho-education. Our recovery webinars have helped tens of thousands through the pandemic.
How do you deal with stress and anxiety?
Charles Linden: We don’t need to because we cure it.
Who are your competitors? And how do you plan to stay in the game?
Charles Linden: We have none because we are the oldest and best at what we do.
Your final thoughts?
Charles Linden: We provide the solution the world now needs.
