Crypto mining is a convoluted procedure, to be honest. Yes, it can help you acquire a massive amount of Cryptocurrency if you’re successful. But, there are also some other things that can make the process extremely difficult to get through.

Therefore, if you’re thinking about participating in Crypto mining, we’d ask you to read this article before that. It might help you make the right decision for your purpose.

What Is Crypto Mining?

Crypto mining, as the name implies, is the process of mining Cryptocurrency. It can help you earn more and more digital currency without having to purchase it through a trading app, like BitAlpha. It also helps you confirm or authorize a new transaction made in blockchain.

The procedure usually involves you using a sophisticated hardware system to solve a difficult computational math problem. And, if you’re the first person to solve it, you’ll get the next bit of Cryptocurrency. The same process begins again after you have made your claim.

Why Do People Do It?

If we’re talking about a “free” way of earning Cryptocurrency, then mining will be at the top of the list. After all, in this aspect, you’ll only have to solve some sort of computational math problem, and get Crypto as a reward. And, the recompense is quite generous too.

Apart from this, you’re also monitoring and legitimizing transactions to keep the “sanity” of the blockchain environment intact. It, in turn, can reduce the risk of market volatility to some extent and offer stability for everyone. However… there’s always a however.

Why Should You Avoid it?

If you’re willing to become a Crypto miner, it’s certainly an excellent career choice to say the least. Nonetheless, it’s not for everyone, in our opinion. Let us tell you why.

  • The math problem provided in a Crypto mining procedure is quite difficult. Hence, it will be impossible for you to do it without a powerful rig. And, to get something like that, you’ll need to spend quite a lot of money, to be honest.
  • Like you, there will be more than a thousand people trying to authenticate the same problem or transaction. Thus, if you’re even a little bit late, you’ll end up losing out on the reward we’re talking about.

Besides, Crypto mining is quite an advanced technological task. Hence, if you don’t have the right knowledge in this regard, you may end up wasting all of your resources. And, that won’t bode well for you if you don’t have a stable job behind your back.

How Much A Crypto Miner Usually Earns?

The rewards of Crypto mining are quite generous if we’re being honest. If we take BTC as an example here, then you’ll find the following

  • In 2009, you could earn 50 BTC for mining a single block.
  • However, that went down to 25 BTC in 2012.
  • In 2016, it was halved again to 12.5 BTC per block.

And, on 2020 (May 11th, to be precise), the reward was reduced to 6.25 BTC per mining a single Bitcoin block. Thus, as you can see, whatever you can earn from mining generally gets lowered by 50% once every four years. But, don’t be discouraged.

As of March 2022, the price of BTC was around USD 39,000. Hence, if you could complete a single block, you would’ve earned around USD 243,750 (39,000 x 6.25).

That’s quite a hefty fee!

Is Crypto Mining Legal?

Yes, it’s legal in most countries. However, if you are living in Bangladesh, Algeria, Tunisia, or Nepal, you won’t be able to mine Cryptocurrency. Hence, before you make a move, don’t forget to take a look at Crypto regulations of your country. Also, mining is partially legal in the USA, as a few states don’t consider the currency legal yet. So, be careful.

The Ball’s In Your Court Now!

So, we have offered as much information regarding Cryptocurrency mining in this blog. Now, it’s your decision to make if you want to dabble in this industry or not. In our opinion, it may be ideal to stick in the trading and transacting department. But, if you’re feeling daring, we wouldn’t stop you from trying something as profitable as Crypto mining.
