We talked to David Peris-Mencheta Nadal on how AMANO is a new concept communication agency and he had the following to say about it:-
First of all, how are you and your family doing in these COVID-19 times?
David Peris-Mencheta Nadal: Fortunately, we are all in good health and working, which is quite a lot these days!
Tell us about you, your career, how you founded AMANO.
David Peris-Mencheta Nadal: I am the co-founder of AMANO, a company which I started along with my partner Raimon Recoder in January 2019. Despite my current responsibilities, I consider myself basically a journalist. Working in newspapers for a few years showed me the value of research and deep understanding as a key factor in achieving any goal.
How does AMANO innovate?
David Peris-Mencheta Nadal: As a communication and marketing agency specializing in the digital arena, we are naturally prone to innovation. Our own environment is constantly evolving: new tools, formats, social trends or technologies arise daily. If we had a conservative culture, things would simply just not work for us.
How the coronavirus pandemic affects your business, and how are you coping?
David Peris-Mencheta Nadal: This is probably the first crisis in History, where communication and marketing agencies are not among the most damaged businesses. In fact, and as a result of the pandemic, they are now more needed than ever as a direct result of social distancing and confinements.
Did you have to make difficult choices, and what are the lessons learned?
David Peris-Mencheta Nadal: At the beginning of this crisis, we made the necessary adjustments to stay financially healthy.
How do you deal with stress and anxiety?
David Peris-Mencheta Nadal: In the first place, I would say it is basic to accept some levels of stress or anxiety as part of this position. That said, high levels of pressure make it impossible to think clearly and make the right decisions. Looking for a healthy balance is usually the best choice.
Who are your competitors? And how do you plan to stay in the game?
David Peris-Mencheta Nadal: So far, we have consolidated a strong team and financial structure. In 2021 AMANO will become a group with the addition of two new companies: AMANO Talents will be focused on influencer marketing while AMANO Brands will provide design and corporate branding. We are aiming to become a top reference in the upcoming years.
