First of all, how are you and your family doing in these COVID-19 times? 

Dejan Davcevski: Personally, I am focused on keeping my immune system strong and avoiding too much news and fear as it is proven that consuming fear on a daily basis damages our immune system, adds stress and decreases our overall health! As a coach, I am doing my best to inspire my family to do the same, but you know… sometimes the closest people to us are the hardest to influence!

Tell us about you, your career, how you founded Life Coach Code.

Dejan Davcevski: I created Life Coach Code over 8 years ago, and it started as a passion for writing about motivation, health, and psychology!

I started with only 100$ getting the domain and the hosting!

And for 5 years, I was a one-man show, writing, editing, publishing, sharing, networking, coaching, 24 hours 7 days per week!

Over the years, the website changed in many directions, but it kept one thing consistent, it was focused on 4 main categories. I call them the fundamental pillars of every human being, The Spirit, The Mind, The Body and The Heart, in that order!

We had highs, lows, ebbs, flows!

Our articles have been read over 50 million times in total, and currently, we have over 2000 unique pieces of content!

Life Coach Code has become one of the best coaching platforms in the world and within the top 0.1% of all websites in the world, according to Alexa!

How does Life Coach Code innovate? 

Dejan Davcevski: We just launched our daily podcast Life Coach Code Daily that’s already airing on Spotify, iTunes, and 20+ other podcasting directories!

We released the second issue of our monthly Digital Magazine!

We plan to launch Life Coach Code University in the upcoming months, a platform where subscribers can enroll in weekly coaching classes about Spirituality, Wealth, Health, Mindset, Motivation, and Relationships!

We believe that remote coaching classes can have a tremendous impact on people! There are many studies already showing that online coaching gives far better results than in person! And with VR lurking around, things will get even better!

We are releasing something new every month, trying to engage our readers and users to upgrade to the greatest version of themselves!

How does the coronavirus pandemic affect your business finances?

Dejan Davcevski: We didn’t see any difference. In fact, our views went high as more and more people are now online!

Did you have to make difficult choices regarding human resources, and what are the lessons learned?

Dejan Davcevski: We were pushed to grow our team and find more people for outreach!

The greatest lesson that we learned is that you cannot control what happens outside, all you can control is how you react to what happens and the meaning you give to it! Also, your business must have a goal much greater than anything that happens and can happen so that you can always adapt to changes!

How did your customer relationship management evolve? Do you use any specific tools to be efficient?

Dejan Davcevski: Everything was already online for our team before the pandemic!

However, one of the biggest evolutions considering management was mindset! It might sound strange, but remote working has shown people that most jobs can be done effectively remotely, some even more effectively than in person!

We personally use Gmail and Zoom!

And as these companies innovate to make it easier for remote working, people easily adapt!

Did you benefit from any government grants, and did that help keep your business afloat?

Dejan Davcevski: As for now, no!

Dejan Davcevski: The world is getting an upgrade right now! Everything is getting uploaded on the internet!

There’s no doubt that everything will get even more digitalized!

Our advice to other companies is to find ways to adopt instead of wasting time and energy to worry, fight what’s inevitable and hope for things to get back as they were! Adapt, fast! Digitize your business! The faster, the better!
