MOFFI: The Tool to Manage the Return to Office Process

Edouard Coisne, founder of MOFFI tells us about office workspace management.
First of all, how are you and your family doing in these COVID-19 times?
Edouard Coisne: The current health context forces us to review our personal and professional comfort. We are adapting to this new way of life, not without constraints.
Tell us about you, your career, and how you founded MOFFI.
Edouard Coisne: After studying at a computer school in Paris and going around the world, I worked as a marketing manager for a windsurf and kitesurf brand. I left everything in December 2015 to launch the MOFFI (Mobile Office) adventure to improve access to workplaces (office, Flex office, home office, coworking etc.).
How does MOFFI innovate?
Edouard Coisne: MOFFI is totally in tune with the times, making workspaces more flexible and enhancing the employee experience. We make workspaces smart with connected locks, digital labels, or integrated mapping.
How the coronavirus pandemic affects your business, and how are you coping?
Edouard Coisne: With the pandemic, companies have become aware of the importance of proper workplace management. For many of them, their activity has been greatly slowed down by the crisis and they have had to work differently. The occupation rate of a workstation in a company was only 60% before the crisis, and this figure exploded from March onwards with the development of teleworking. With MOFFI, they can optimize the occupation of workspaces by implementing flex office. Employees do not have a designated job, they book their office or declare their home office day directly from our tool.
Did you have to make difficult choices, and what are the lessons learned?
Edouard Coisne: We had to revise our model several times to adapt to the market. The health crisis was a real opportunity for us to show how we could help our customers in managing employee flows with a home office.
What specific tools, software, and management skills are you using to navigate this crisis?
Edouard Coisne: Our small size makes it easier for us to manage this crisis. We use Slack and Google Meet to facilitate communication between teams. We also use MOFFI to manage on-site/home office presence and thus avoid having too many people on site.
Who are your competitors? And how do you plan to stay in the game?
Edouard Coisne: Today we are in a fast-growing market in which more and more players are entering. We differentiate ourselves through a tool that is simple to use and intuitive. We are also very responsive to our customers’ requests. We are very attentive to their feedback and take it into account in the development and improvement of our solution.
Your final thoughts?
Edouard Coisne: Even if the situation has been complicated for everyone, companies have to come out of this crisis in a big way. The crisis has raised problems in terms of work organization and has greatly developed teleworking. Flex office is a solution for all companies wishing to make their organization more flexible and reduce the cost per occupant of workspaces. The MOFFI team is at your disposal to support you in these projects.
