Erman Küplü of Analyzify tells us how the Google tag manager & analytics app for your Shopify store offers productized services.
First of all, how are you and your family doing in these COVID-19 times?
Erman Küplü: Thank god, everybody is healthy.
Tell us about you, your career, how you founded Analyzify.
Erman Küplü I am a digital marketing veteran with 12+ years of experience. I have started with creating websites, forums, blogs, and doing SEO; then it is evolved became a business. We have been running a digital agency in Turkey for over 7 years. Then we went international and founded Solverhood, an Upwork-exclusive company that offers productized services.
How does Analyzify innovate?
Erman Küplü: Solverhood is one of the first companies that offered productized services even before the term productized services existed. We wanted to solve six core needs that entrepreneurs have – from branding, SEO, Ads, Data to website creation. We have also started creating SaaS products such as Analyzify.
How the coronavirus pandemic affects your business, and how are you coping?
Erman Küplü: The first two months were challenging because companies were scared to spend their money. Later on, the demand and our market got much bigger because the money spent on the internet was increasing rapidly.
Did you have to make difficult choices, and what are the lessons learned?
Erman Küplü: We didn’t have to make a radical choice but many lessons learned – especially on saving the company’s money for the hard days.
What specific tools, software, and management skills are you using to navigate this crisis?
Erman Küplü: Our team has always worked remotely, so we didn’t need to make any changes.
Who are your competitors? And how do you plan to stay in the game?
Erman Küplü: I’ll speak for Analyzify as it is the SaaS product we have with direct competitors. We are new in the market, but many clients who used other products before chose Analyzify and provided great feedback. We will keep improving our product and adding features. We will keep focusing on making our clients delighted. I don’t really think we need to do something else.
Your final thoughts?
Erman Küplü: Shopify App market is huge. There are 400K+ stores, and most of them make money and run their businesses nicely. It is a pleasure to be there and to help those small businesses to achieve their dreams.
