Erwin Croughs: very well.

Tell us about you, your career, how you founded Slow Mill.

Erwin Croughs: I was sailing the oceans and amazed by the power of the waves.

How does Slow Mill innovate? 

Erwin Croughs: Trial and error.

How the coronavirus pandemic affects your business and how are you coping?

Erwin Croughs: The lockdowns really slow us down and we have to postpone our schedule.

Did you have to make difficult choices and what are the lessons learned?

Erwin Croughs: Lots of difficult choices, implement the most easy passive durable mechanical solutions.

What specific tools, software, and management skills are you using to navigate this crisis?

Erwin Croughs: Hope and patience.

Who are your competitors? And how do you plan to stay in the game?

Erwin Croughs: No competitors in our home domain; we are the only ones to handle irregular North Sea waves.
