Flávio Oliveira Edukarnegócios

We talked to Flávio Oliveira of Edukarnegócios about minimizing inequalities in corporate scenarios during the pandemic.

First of all, how are you and your family doing in these COVID-19 times?

Flávio Oliveira: I’m extremely grateful that we are healthy. We were all infected, even though we were careful. We remain cautious and creatively bypassing the countless financial impacts.

Tell us about you, your career, how you founded Edukarnegócios.

Flávio Oliveira: I am a technology and finance executive and university professor. I’m a serial entrepreneur passionate about the transformative power of education. We founded Edukarnegócios to minimize inequalities in corporate scenarios, taking a solution to align employees so that they perform, improve their productivity, and consequently generate greater profitability.

How does Edukarnegócios innovate?

Flávio Oliveira: With service and uninterrupted support integrating cognitive knowledge, learning machine, conversational AI by the most famous messaging tool in the world – WhatsApp, respecting the time and pace of each user to train and receive support in the field.

How the coronavirus pandemic affects your business, and how are you coping?

Flávio Oliveira: Before the pandemic, we were an educational consultancy focused on implementing corporate universities and creating simulation environments with AR&VR. We changed our business model to the SaaS format with an LXP – Learning Experience Platform. A recurring digital solution and high adherence to the new reality of corporations.

Did you have to make difficult choices, and what are the lessons learned?

Flávio Oliveira: Yes. The biggest one was the change in the mindset of being an entrepreneur versus replacement in the market. Entrepreneurship in Brazil is not easy. Deciding for the dream and surviving has never been a simple choice. The greatest of all lessons learned is gratitude for life, not suffering from ageism, and creating a job opportunity that I have not found in the market.

How do you deal with stress and anxiety? How do you project yourself and Edukarnegócios in the future?

Flávio Oliveira: Currently, instead of conquering everything I had planned, I value everything I already had and participate in interventions in order to drive our business, as an initiative with BlackRocks, for example. The reality of Brazilian entrepreneurship forces us to reinvent ourselves every day.

Who are your competitors? And how do you plan to stay in the game?

Flávio Oliveira: DOT, Teya, DialogFlow, Take, and WhatsApp itself compete with our solution. We will stay in the game, using them as a channel, as a means to achieve our goal: an odd and safe experience for employees in their day by day, having prioritized the concept of learner-centric.

Your final thoughts?

Flávio Oliveira: As differentiated humans, we overcome hostile environments on a daily basis. Before we are good entrepreneurs, businessmen, we have to be better versions of human beings.
