George Avgenakis tells us how LoopCV helps job seekers to find a job super fast.

First of all, how are you and your family doing in these COVID-19 times? 

George Avgenakis: Doing great. Working from home and trying to work out a bit to stay healthy.

Tell us about you, your career, how you founded LoopCV

George Avgenakis: The company started out of my personal problem. I was trying to find a job, but I didn’t have time to search online every day. So, I built a script to automate it, and this is how Loopcv started!

How does LoopCV our company innovate? 

George Avgenakis: Thousands of people around the world are looking for a job every second. We’re all too aware of how many hours a week can be spent scrolling through LinkedIn, Indeed, CV-library, and other major job boards, so we decided to address this. We want to give people their time back whilst increasing their output. Many businesses use software to help them scale their recruitment drive and filter out candidates, so our aim is to give. 

How the coronavirus pandemic affects your business, and how are you coping?

George Avgenakis: Since our launch last October, we’ve only operated within the pandemic, and we’ve seen interest in our product grow month on month. Like with any start-up we’ve got a bunch of feature requests we’re trying to prioritise.

Did you have to make difficult choices, and what are the lessons learned?

George Avgenakis: Where to focus on… Our product has been very popular with recruiters and Career Advisors, so we’re currently toying with the idea of building functionality that could also serve them. 

What specific tools, software, and management skills are you using to navigate this crisis?

George Avgenakis: Fortunately, we’ve all been working remotely on this tool, so we’ve been completely unaffected by the pandemic. Our way of working has stayed exactly the same.

Who are your competitors? And how do you plan to stay in the game?

George Avgenakis: There are a few products out there that do a similar thing in terms of job aggregation, but we’ve not found a single system that handles automatic job applications like us. a good example of this is a company called snagajob.com
