Our mission is to lead, pioneer, and create Augmented and Virtual Reality technology that delivers purposeful experiences to people around the globe says Hassan Seguias CEO at Elevux

First of all, how are you and your Family doing in these COVID-19 Times?
Hassan Seguias: The pandemic has been a challenge for everyone, but we’ve managed to stay safe and healthy.
Tell us about you, your Career, how you founded Elevux
Hassan Seguias: My passion for computers and design came as a revelation when I was six years old; towards the end of the 1980s. One night my father arrived home with Apple’s first Macintosh computer, and I was mesmerized. The hard drive was nothing more than a floppy disk, with a screen resolution of 512 × 342 pixels, colorless and yet perfect. After playing with the machine for twenty minutes, I knew exactly what I was destined to do for the rest of my life.
I grew up in a small town in Venezuela. At the age of fifteen, I moved to the United States, knowing very little English but hungry for knowledge and the prospect of a bright future. In 2005 I graduated from Full Sail University, a well-respected school in the design and film industries, and moved on to hold a few design jobs at various agencies in Orlando, Florida. Before starting Elevux, I was the Creative Director of a major creative agency in town.
Elevux is born out of a desire to express and execute creative ideas, philosophies, and processes that wouldn’t have been possible while working for someone else. I’ve always believed in the power of design to elevate people to their highest potential, but for that to happen, the practice of design has to be more purposeful and less commercial. And so, Elevux takes on a journey to build technology and design methods that work together to deliver incredible experiences. We call it experiential intelligence. The past three years have been focused on the future of the company – Augmented and Virtual Reality.
Our mission as a company is to lead, pioneer, and create Augmented and Virtual Reality technology that delivers purposeful experiences to people around the globe.
How does Elevux innovate?
Hassan Seguias: Innovation is never a straight line. We innovate by taking significant risks every day and investing in the people and minds working to make our vision a reality. We see innovation as a by-product of collaboration, vision, and hard work.
How the Coronavirus Pandemic affects your Business, and how are you coping?
Hassan Seguias: The pandemic has fast-tracked the adoption of virtual technologies in almost every aspect of our personal and professional lives. This sudden shift in how we work and communicate has opened a window of opportunity for businesses like ours to grow in these difficult times.
Did you have to make Difficult Choices, and what are the Lessons Learned?
Hassan Seguias: Quick pivots in terms of business priorities were needed during the pandemic. Staying nimble and focused has enabled us to adapt to sudden cultural and economic changes quickly.
How do you deal with Stress and Anxiety? How do you project yourself and Elevux in the Future?
Hassan Seguias: Coping with stress and anxiety is never easy, especially in these trying times. Staying physically and emotionally healthy has been a top priority for the team and myself. Our company’s future is focused on delivering incredible AR and VR experiences to our customers and people at large.
Who are your Competitors? And how do you plan to stay in the Game?
Hassan Seguias: We’re relentless in our mission to elevate people and businesses to their highest potential through purposeful immersive experiences and technologies. Focusing on our mission, adapting quickly to cultural forces, empowering and nurturing our teams and partners is how we plan to stay in the game, through trying and rewarding times.
