How are you and your family doing in these COVID-19 times?
Jennie Buckley: We are coping quite well and have adapted to the ever-changing climate. My husband and daughter are also out at work in their workplace and have regular Covid tests. This is a weekly event in most workplaces now to keep the workforce safe.
About you, your career, how you joined Shop 4 Labels.
Jennie Buckley: The company was founded in 1998, and I joined the firm in 2002.
How does Shop 4 Labels innovate?
Jennie Buckley: We tend to use SEO and regularly introduce new products to meet customer requirements.
How does the coronavirus pandemic affect your business finances?
Jennie Buckley: We are fortunate that we have a lot of customers that are spread out throughout the many market sectors, including the NHS, so we have continued to trade almost at the same level throughout the worst of the pandemic.
Did you have to make difficult choices regarding HR, and what are the lessons learned?
Jennie Buckley: Working from home was a factor but worked out very well.
How did your customer relationship management evolve? Do you use any specific tools to be efficient?
Jennie Buckley: We have excellent customer relationships, and we pride ourselves on excellent customer service. We have, in fact, many returning loyal customers. Our online shopping site is very efficient and very easy for customers to use, so this tool is used to receive orders and enquiries, which we would hope to always convert!
