Joao Monteiro, Founder of 4XC tells us how the brokerage firm is a valid, reputable, and flexible solution for traders and investors around the world.
First of all, how are you and your family doing in these COVID-19 times?
Joao Monteiro: Thank you for asking. As we adapt to this new reality and different way of living, I’m thankful so far for being able to pass this storm relatively unharmed, contrary to many families around the world that, as we know, are passing very difficult times right now.
Health combined with a positive mindset is the key.
Tell us about you, your career, how you founded 4XC.
Joao Monteiro: I started 15 years ago in the Banking sector, specializing a few years after in the Foreign Exchange Market, where I did remain until the present time.
I have gained experience working for some of the most reputable brokerage firms in the city of London and Cyprus FX hub – Limassol, and back in 2018, I’ve decided that it was time to set up something of my own, with my principles, ideas, and a tailored made offering for my Clients.
4XC, after these 3 years of operations, is already recognized as a valid, reputable, and flexible solution for traders and investors around the world, and we are extremely pleased with the way business is evolving.
How does 4XC innovate?
Joao Monteiro: In a relatively mature industry like online trading and FX, we have used our legal status as a way to bring back the kind of trading conditions traders want.
We are always transparent and innovative with our offerings and have brought to the trading world a number of key offers, such as our volume trading competition, where you can win a prize for trading the most volume with a pre-set amount of money.
Did you have to make difficult choices regarding human resources, and what are the lessons learned?
Joao Monteiro: Yes, we have focused mostly on in-house support staff, which we feel are the backbone of the business. With Covid, we realized that we can still deliver a great service all around working remotely, but we prefer the benefits of more 1-1 teamwork in an ideal world.
How did your customer relationship management evolve?
Joao Monteiro: We have listened to our varied clients and tried to be able to answer common questions within our CRM. We use it as a way to educate and communicate what we are doing in general.
Do you use any specific tools to be efficient?
Joao Monteiro: As well as the usual, we use some cool tools that our marketing department suggested, such as tooltips for onboarding, tawk.to for live chat.
