First of all, how are you and your family doing in these COVID19 times?

Joe Daley: Thanks for asking. We are trying to stay positive and make the most out of our situation. We are taking this time to find ways to better our lives and relationships.

Tell us about you, your career, and  how you founded or joined LogoMyWay

Joe Daley: My name is Joe Daley and I’m the founder of LogoMyWay. In 2008 when the economy crashed I needed to pivot with my business. I decided that a crowd-sourcing logo design company would be the way to go. The reason is, during a recession more people start businesses because they lose jobs. One of the first things they need when starting a business is a logo. This is how LogoMyWay was born. Since 2008 we have created over 5 million logos, over 35,000 clients and 40,000 logo designers have joined our platform.

How does LogoMyWay innovate?

Joe Daley: We stay innovative by constantly improving our customer experience and quality. We often get feedback from clients and designers and make changes to improve LogoMyWay.

How the coronavirus pandemic affects your business and how are you coping?

Joe Daley: We are taking this opportunity to focus on AI. We have been working on a logo maker that will allow anyone to make their own logo within minutes and download all of the logo files they will need for websites and any other application they want to put their logo on.

Did you have to make difficult choices and what are the lessons learned?

Joe Daley: We did not have to downsize because of the coronavirus, but we did cut costs where we could and became more efficient. These past few months have shown us anything can happen, and you have to be ready to pivot and make decisive decisions that will impact the business.

How do you deal with stress and anxiety, how do you project yourself and LogoMyWay in the future?

Joe Daley: As the CEO of the company, I deal with stress by solving important issues that arise. I stay focused on the goal and work through challenges always improving the business and improving our customer experience. I use business and my work ethic as therapy. It’s my happy place.

Who are your competitors? And how do you plan to stay in the game?

Joe Daley: Our competitors are 99designs.com, Crowdspring.com logomaker.com, and tailorbrands.com. We plan to continue to make amazing logo designs for our clients to purchase. There is a noticeable difference between LoogMyWay’s quality and our competitors. All of our logo designs are created by professional logo designers from all over the world. We have over 30,000 logo designers that have joined our community since 2009

Your final thoughts

Joe Daley: I have been building businesses since 1997 and what I have learned over the years is to never get comfortable with where you are in business. Always stay innovative, focused, and continue to improve your business or you will eventually get pushed behind other businesses that are grinding it out every day and making improvements.
