We Stood Firm in the Face of the Crisis, Reveals Karol Kwiatkowski of Strategiczni

Karol Kwiatkowski tells us how Strategiczni is specializing in search engine marketing for professional services, IT and e-commerce.
First of all, how are you and your family doing in these COVID-19 times?
Karol Kwiatkowski: Thank you, those are turbulent times. But hopefully, modern-day science brings us the light of hope. We are following all the current safety recommendations in order to stay safe.
Tell us about you, your career, how you founded Strategiczni.
Karol Kwiatkowski: I’ve been involved in SEO projects since 2008 when I was working as a freelance translator. I started my website back then and started looking for ways to get more traffic. That’s how I came across the SEO industry.
How does Strategiczni innovate?
Karol Kwiatkowski: We are among the few agencies in Poland that have built a thorough understanding of a certain niche. We are the go-to agency if you are from the IT sector. Our research in this field is second to none. We innovate by providing the most data-backed feedback to our clients.
How the coronavirus pandemic affects your business, and how are you coping?
Karol Kwiatkowski: Actually, after some initial turmoil at the beginning of the Pandemic, things look rather good. The overall shift towards remote work and e-commerce proved to be a turning point in our history. Our client portfolio is expanding steadily, with the exception of industries like tourism.
Did you have to make difficult choices, and what are the lessons learned?
Karol Kwiatkowski: We’ve learned to cope with the difficulties that came with the Pandemic. We struggled to create processes and implement them in order to keep our work as efficiently as possible. In the end, the Pandemic taught us a lot in terms of running a business, team management, and innovation.
What specific tools, software, and management skills are you using to navigate this crisis?
Karol Kwiatkowski: Well, we are fully cloud-based. So Google and Microsoft solutions are come to mind at first. Then there is our project management tool – Bitrix24 and, of course, Slack to manage the day-to-day communications. We even managed to move the whole part of signing contracts online with the use of certified signatures. We are able to work from virtually any part of Poland, keeping all our infrastructure safe and available.
Who are your competitors? And how do you plan to stay in the game?
Karol Kwiatkowski: We compete with most digital agencies in Poland. Our vision is to focus on a selected industry and offer our services there and no more following any leads.
Your final thoughts?
Karol Kwiatkowski: It was one hell of a year; the current situation might seem a bit gloomy, but thanks to modern medicine and the efforts of medical staff from all around the globe, we believe that we are at the end of the Pandemic. It is darkest before dawn, and our business has never been stronger. We are ready to face any challenges head-on.
