Kashyap Dave TIGI

We talked Kashyap Dave of TIGI about AI-based recruit robot technology and here is what he said about it.

First of all, how are you and your family doing in these Covid-19 times?

Kashyap Dave: I must say that it was the hardest times ever seen and passes by mankind. My family and I were fine during this disaster in the form of Covid-19 and hoping for the same answer from the other end. This answer has been possible due to our Covid fighters, i.e. Doctors, Policemen, Government and to each one of those front line fighters. So a big round of applause and my sincere thanks to all of them.

Tell us about you, your career, how you founded TIGI.

Kashyap Dave: Since the college days, I was more interested in taking practical knowledge instead of focusing on just theories. In the last year of my master’s which is also called as ‘placement year’, I observed that including me, 1000 candidates were applying per 100 vacancies. So, I considered this as a vital problem, which I also have experienced. And since then, I had started working upon it.

And finally, TIGI was initiated by me and my partner Mr. Dax Bamania in October 2016. From the day of the foundation itself, the company works with the vision of creating maximum employment and leaders in society.

How does TIGI innovate?

Kashyap Dave: TIGI HR Solutions Pvt. Ltd. has innovated themselves into two phases, which are explained below.

The first one is ‘mentally,’ i.e. changing the psychology from negative to positive and to convert their objective into the organizational objective of every member working in this firm.

The second phase is ‘technologically,’ i.e. transforming and updating the system and process of TIGI HR. We are using chat-bots and automatic email for decent customer satisfaction. We have also introduced new products which are more customized in nature. According to the trends, we have become professionals in the acquisition of social media talent. TIGI always remains ahead in this game because we have a constant eye on the latest trends and what tools are available to HR professionals. As being a disruptive startup, we work with highly innovative technology, and they believe in the change by a preliminary understanding of the demand.

How the corona-virus pandemic affects your business, and how are you coping?

Kashyap Dave: I know this was a tough time for all of us. But, the one who fights at such time is the only ‘real warrior’. During this lockdown and crisis instead of wasting my time, I have utilized it to get the best out of it. I have deeply researched the upcoming opportunities and acted accordingly.

Thus, TIGI has evolved his managing process to TMS (TIGI Management System), which helps obtain accurate results. Due to TMS, the firm has become much smooth and quick. Recently TIGI has explored the IT sector, and we have taken this sector into account and made this sector a core sector for TIGI.

According to the requirements of the clients, the first screening at TIGI is done by automatic robots. Thus, it saves the time of the recruiters and also client gets their vacancies fulfilled with a short span.

Did you have to make difficult choices, and what are the lessons learned?

Kashyap Dave: Since this crisis, every day I read in the newspaper about the downsizing in many reputed companies or some might have also opted for temporary shut down. In some companies, this decision had also proven positive.

But here at TIGI, we consider our employees as an asset rather than a liability. Thus, we have done no cut down in payment of their salaries, nor we have fired any employees from work. We have always been in touch with all our stakeholders during these rough and tough times. TIGI has also accepted the trend of work from home.

From day one, only TIGI has worked with 2-3 back plans to sustain in this emerging world. As TIGI plough back 70% of profits into the expansion and modernization of the company, we have not suffered financially.

How do you deal with stress and anxiety?

Kashyap Dave: Stress is a natural feeling of not being able to cope with the specific demand and events, especially in the times of such pandemic. Currently and in the future, the major problem all around the world is STRESS! Stress and anxiety can be a chronic condition if the person does not take effective steps to overcome it. Thus, there are some scientific approved solutions which have helped us to deal with stress and anxiety, which are as follows:

– Avoid toxic inputs and people.

– Listen to good music.

– Meditation (If you’re learner 10-15 minutes a day, but if you do it regularly, then you may stretch it.)

– Keep entertaining yourself.

– Sleep well.

– Never expect anything from anyone.

We practice meditation regularly on the premises of TIGI. We also promote employees to share their issues to reduce their mental stress and help them to solve such problems. Thus, the above were some tactics which have helped us in these critical times to fight against stress and anxiety.

Who are your competitors? And how do you plan to stay in the game?

Kashyap Dave: As such, we believe in healthy competition, due to it we constantly get a chance to improve ourselves. But, I believe that if we are better than yesterday, then we’re going in the right way.

TIGI also runs on the same thought, and thus, we are running franchises successfully in many parts of India. As our ultimate goal is to create maximum employment and develop successful leaders, we are constantly trying to upgrade and update for better positioning of our firm in the mind of the customers.

We are also planning to amalgamate with the firm which is also working with similar vision like ours. Thus, there are many more strategies which we’ll implement to stay in the game.

Your final thoughts?

Kashyap Dave: I have learned from this Covid-19 is that the ‘game must go on’. Many people have lost their lives, and many have lost their loved ones. So, especially wants to dedicate themselves, that if you’re alive then spend your each second in the right direction and make it worthy.
