Kishore Rajpurohit Consulting Pandits

We talked to Kishore Rajpurohit on how Consulting Pandits leads people to better lives, and this is what he had to say about it.

First of all, how are you and your family doing in these COVID-19 times?

Kishore Rajpurohit: We are safe, and everyone in my family is healthy. I hope the entire world would recover from this situation at the earliest and praying for all to be safe and healthy, and the affected recover soon.

Tell us about you, your career, how you founded Consulting Pandits?

Kishore Rajpurohit: I have over 18 Years of experience in HR and Recruitment, working for Startups, SME’s, and MNC’s. I started working in BPO’s in my initial career and later moved to HR and Recruitment. I have worked with Sutherland Global Services, Tulip, Tech Mahindra, and few others. After working for over 18 years in HR and Recruitment, I released that I had to do something for society with the experience, knowledge, and network I built over the years. I founded the company with my wife, who had worked in a Few Companies before starting Consulting Pandits.

What made you start Consulting Pandits, and what problem does it solve?

Kishore Rajpurohit: I have seen many candidates and students in remote locations, towns, and cities struggle to get proper guidance, support, and help to do something in life. I have seen colleges charging huge fees, and when students come into the market, they are not market-fit or lack lots of skills required to get a job. We are trying to solve this by connecting with candidates and students in colleges. We know that we are not the only such company in the market, but our will is to reach the last mile is what excites us.

How the coronavirus pandemic affects your business, and how are you coping?

Kishore Rajpurohit: Coronavirus affected us badly; we are in the HR and Recruitment business. Every company stopped hiring in Pandemic, and we were without business for almost ten months. Few clients stopped hiring, few revoked offer letters, few stopped payments for hired candidates. We are slowly recovering and started getting a few assignments in November. It will take a few months to recover losses and come back to business.

Did you have to make difficult choices, and what are the lessons learned?

Kishore Rajpurohit: We have to take a few difficult decisions and let go of a few team members. We promised to re-hire them once the situation improves.

Lessons Learned: Always keep back-up plans, save for rainy days, and have a sustainable business model to survive difficult times.

How do you deal with stress and anxiety?

Kishore Rajpurohit: Reading, walking alone, and talking with friends and family members helped to deal with stress and anxiety.

Who are your competitors? And how do you plan to stay in the game?

Kishore Rajpurohit: I don’t think we have any competition; it all works for a common goal to help people with good jobs and make a difference. Yes, as an HR and Recruitment Company we have lots of competition in the market but what makes us different or in your word better than others is our commitment to work for people in areas where they don’t have access to good jobs, career guidance, and proper support system. We do work to earn our living, but significant work that we do is for society. We know that we are not the only such company in the market, but our will to reach the last mile excites us.

Your final thoughts?

Kishore Rajpurohit: We are working to bring change in rural areas by supporting them in choosing the right career and reaching their goals. We have Industry veterans as our Consulting partners/mentors/guide, hence Consulting Pandits.
