nopAccelerate – A Reliable nopCommerce eCommerce Agency Serving Globally

We talked to Krunal Jariwala of nopAccelerate and Xcellence-IT about solving business problems using computer applications, and he had the following to say:-
First of all, how are you and your family doing in these COVID-19 times?
Krunal Jariwala: I am doing good and being grateful to God for everything, including recovering from the mild COVID-19 infection. Right now, everyone is good and healthy and thriving in our fields.
Tell us about you, your career, how you founded nopAccelerate.
Krunal Jariwala: Computers have got my interests since I was a child. When I was 15 to 16 years of age, I was fortunate enough to get a PC for myself. I learned and created my first website in a few weeks and then continued learning further and created a few simple applications for our family business to solve problems at hand.
By education, I did my management, but later, during a job at a textile company, I figured out that I should pursue my passion of solving business problems using computer applications and founded a company. Now we have a strong team of 25+ professionals and serving customers globally with solutions that are focused on making life easy for our customers and help them grow their business.
How does nopAccelerate innovate?
Krunal Jariwala: Our core values emphasize on innovations, and we’re ok even if our team fails when they try out new things, technologies, techniques. We believe that Constant learning is the key to innovation. If you don’t learn and try out new things, then your vision is limited to what you already know. So constant learning and trying out new things is the key. Apart from that, our leading team emphasizes nurturing new talents, giving them freedom and time to innovate and learn. This also helps everyone contribute to innovation along with growth to the company’s top line.
How does the coronavirus pandemic affect your business finances?
Krunal Jariwala: It affected us badly in the first two months. However, I see it as an opportunity. We upgraded our infrastructure, tried out all the things we have been postponing, started working on new ideas, recruited more people, trained our people, etc. And thanks to our committed sales team, we were back on track with more customer projects.
Did you have to make difficult choices regarding human resources, and what are the lessons learned?
Krunal Jariwala: We had to make difficult decisions as the topline was badly impacted. However, we decided that we are not going to have any layoff or salary cuts. And we tried to keep our development team busy when we did not have projects. That was for a very short time. This kept the team busy learning, innovating, and working on new ideas… the benefit is higher morale and improved competencies. We are fortunate to have a solid team who supported us during difficult times. We are so grateful for the same.
How did your customer relationship management evolve? Do you use any specific tools to be efficient?
Krunal Jariwala: Since the beginning of the business, our focus was to make the lives of our customers easy with excellent solutions. And to achieve this, we started using CRM immediately after booting the company. Apart from that, we follow a practice of constant improvement in every area possible… this helped us match up with industry standards in terms of offering the best customer experience.
Did you benefit from any government grants, and did that help keep your business afloat?
Krunal Jariwala: Not yet. But we are planning for the same with our other start-up idea. I will be happy to talk to you soon about that.
Your final thoughts?
Krunal Jariwala: Action, Action, and Action. Because I believe that however good an idea you may have… it’s useless until you implement it… improvise it as you implement. And at the same time, focus on solving real problems that your customers are facing. If you are looking for… you will find an idea that customers will be happy to pay for solving.
