LY DAM KHANH of Landofcoder tells us about providing customers with cutting-edge products and technologies at a reasonable price.

First of all, how are you and your family doing in these COVID-19 times?

LY DAM KHANH: Thankfully, we are doing well and gradually getting accustomed to the new normal in our country. It has been quite challenging in the first few months of the COVID-19 outbreak, but now we have adapted to safety measures imposed by the government, such as wearing face masks and social distancing. We also learned to take good care of our health and our family, which I believe is one of the most important things right now.

Tell us about you, your career, how you joined Landofcoder.

LY DAM KHANH: For the last few years, I have been working as a Marketing Manager for Landofcoder. Technology had always strived my passionate interest since I was in university, so joining my current team put me on the right path. Along with the development and expansion of our company, I have grown a lot, both personally and professionally.

How does Landofcoder innovate?

LY DAM KHANH: As the e-commerce market is growing at a rapid rate globally, it is our job to provide customers with cutting-edge products and technologies at a reasonable price. We always strive to meet clients’ demands by constantly collecting feedbacks and continually updating our E-business solutions in order to bring out the most advanced and effective products. At LandOfCoder, we believe innovation lies in our endeavor to deliver the best extensions to fulfill top-notch customer experience.

How does the coronavirus pandemic affect your business, and how are you coping?

LY DAM KHANH: It’s undeniable that we all are facing a hard time due to the COVID-19 pandemic. There were few weeks when we had to work remotely to follow social distancing rules nationwide, and it had slightly affected the administrative functioning of our team. We had to apply a work-from-home policy as well as new communication methods immediately to ensure a smooth remote workflow.

Did you have to make difficult choices regarding human resources, and what are the lessons learned?

LY DAM KHANH: We are so grateful that the pandemic was soon under control in our country, so we did not have to make any negative choices in terms of human resources. Everyone in our team has been working hard to catch up with all changes in policies and working methods, so it is a relief that we make it until now. Our HR might experience some rough days in the midst of the COVID-19 outbreak, but we learned that it is extremely essential to keep up the good spirit.

How did your customer relationship management evolve? Do you use any specific tools to be efficient?

LY DAM KHANH: Since our company mainly focuses on the overseas market, we still rely on online communication to keep in touch with our customers. We are happy to support our clients professionally and immediately whenever they need help, no matter we are facing a pandemic or not. Besides that, we constantly update and adapt to new technologies in general to deliver a quality customer experience.

Did you benefit from any government grants, and did that help keep your business afloat?

LY DAM KHANH: We haven’t received any grants from the government. However, our country leaders have done an amazing job on the prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our work-life flow has backed to normalcy, and I believe the economy will recover soon.

Your final thoughts?

LY DAM KHANH: This pandemic is an unexpected event for the whole world. However, I believe such unfortunate is also a chance for us to innovate to grow bigger and stronger. These difficulties might turn into opportunities if we maintain positive energy and continually change for the better. Every cloud has a silver lining. Let’s adapt to the new normal life and wait for better days to come.
