Maksim Romanovsky, Head of Go Mobile Indonesia tells us about implementing all high-end solutions related to media buying and all forms of marketing.
First of all, how are you and your family doing in these COVID-19 times?
Maksim Romanovsky: Thank you for asking. My family and I are fine, everyone’s healthy, and we’re still keeping the protocols.
Tell us about you, your career, how you joined Go Mobile.
Maksim Romanovsky: I started my advertising career in Go Mobile in 2018. I was in charge of Business Development, where I managed to work with top Russian brands and international advertising holdings.
Go Mobile Indonesia was established in the same year, then in the middle of 2019, our CEO offered me to become the Head of the Indonesian office. We chose Indonesia because it is one of the largest mobile markets in Asia. The launch was a crucial step for Go Mobile, as we have always aimed to acquire clients worldwide.
Two weeks after an offer, I moved to Jakarta, formed a team, analyzed the market, and established business processes that we are following until now. Thanks to our incredible team, we managed to make our branch profitable, independent and doubled the team in the first year.
How does Go Mobile innovate?
Maksim Romanovsky: Our company is 100% focused on digital marketing. We implement all high-end solutions related to media buying and all forms of marketing. We help marketers worldwide with one of the best programmatic solutions (DSP “Go NET”), various advertising formats, and dynamic creatives based on AI. The usage of AI helps Media Buyers to simplify their workflow using Smart Events and automated LTV optimization.
How the coronavirus pandemic affects your business, and how are you coping?
Maksim Romanovsky: In Indonesia, total lockdown began in late March of 2020. We were lucky to establish almost a 90% remote business process before the pandemic, and it went transcendent. We kept using task-tracking tools like Asana and CRM, which, combined, provide remarkable results. Cheers to all of our incredible team who always help overcome the occurred difficulties. The valuable skills we must have are self-organization, detailed explanation, and strategic planning. It is essential to update your team and be solution-oriented in every situation constantly. Plus, we motivate everyone to follow the ownership approach when people are CEOs in their responsibility areas.
What is your plan?
Maksim Romanovsky: In the new reality, we see opportunities in scaling up to the US market and the rest of the world. Coronavirus has taught most of us that personal presence is not always a must, and we want to take this opportunity to let the world know about our company.
As for the offline offices, now most of the borders are closed, and we’d like to focus more on the current locations. If the offline-situation drastically changes soon, we will consider this option.
