First of all, how are you and your family doing in these COVID-19 times?
Michael Elyav: Great, thanks for asking!
Tell us about you, your career, how you founded Sharobella.
Michael Elyav: After experience in managing an IT team and establishing processes in different companies, I decided to found my own digital agency – Sharobella.
One of my first clients from the retail industry decided to make an eCommerce platform for Women’s fashion, where essentially, I have become an active partner.
How does Sharobella innovate?
Michael Elyav: Combination of creative people, visionary customers, and deep research 🙂
How does the coronavirus pandemic affect your business finances?
Michael Elyav: It was not so predicted; from one day to another, some customers decided to upscale and some to downscale, some hot leads have disappeared once the pandemic started, and some simply popped up.
Did you have to make difficult choices regarding human resources, and what are the lessons learned?
Michael Elyav: Yes, given the fact some projects scaled down, it was important to be flexible by restructuring teams and allocating resources accordingly, working in an agile environment ease these processes.
How did your customer relationship management evolve? Do you use any specific tools to be efficient?
Michael Elyav: Obviously, video calls were very important; we were using several such as Zoom, Whereby & MS teams.
Did you benefit from any government grants, and did that help keep your business afloat?
Michael Elyav: Just a bit.
