First of all, how are you and your family doing in these COVID-19 times?
Mike Zambakkides: Maintaining well, thankfully.
Tell us about you, your career, how you founded Z3 Controls.
Mike Zambakkides: We started Z3 Controls in 2011 and registered the company in 2012 with 3 other partners and I who have since gone on to other organizations.
How does Z3 Controls innovate?
Mike Zambakkides: We constantly adapt to new trends and tech dealing with our Energy Solutions and IoT offerings to help make them quicker, better, with more functions and less cost for ourselves and our clients and partners.
How the coronavirus pandemic affects your business, and how are you coping?
Mike Zambakkides: There was a slight drop, but it gave us a chance to catch-up on tech we were working on and incorporate new technology into our solutions.
Did you have to make difficult choices, and what are the lessons learned?
Mike Zambakkides: We definitely did at the start. Learning to roll with the punches while maintaining grit and perseverance is key.
How do you deal with stress and anxiety?
Mike Zambakkides: Work out, lol.
Who are your competitors? And how do you plan to stay in the game?
Mike Zambakkides: There are a few. Depending on what product, solution, or service we offer. One competitive trait we have is actually working with our competitors. Keeps us all ahead of the game.

Mike Zambakkides: Being an entrepreneur in tech is, at times, a rollercoaster, but in the end, the sky’s the limit and beyond.
