INNOVATORS VS COVID 19
Founding and Starting of The Crypto Staunch

Mr. KingsHOK of The Crypto Staunch tells us about the crypto digital assets.
First of all, how are you and your family doing in these COVID-19 times?
Mr. KingsHOK: My wife and I, as well as my family, including my in-laws, are doing great in these COVID-19 times. We tried as much as possible to maintain the safety of one another by following the generic rules to keep healthy living within these pandemic times.
Although there have been ups and downs, we have been figuring out some other ways to make money without depending on the government for our earnings.
As a Nigerian, a lot of problems have been coming up here and there during the pandemic, and that has been bringing the country’s economy down so badly that many people who work 9-5 find it hard to feed properly somehow.
However, thanks to God Almighty for watching over my family and relations. It’s been a roller coaster, but we all crushed it hard though.
Tell us about you, your career, how you founded The Crypto Staunch.
Mr. KingsHOK: If you visit my website, you will find out that I once lost money in Bitcoin HYIPs and Pyramid Schemes. The worst of it all is that I even lost a huge amount of money my mum gave me for business just before my graduation from the university as of then.
As of late 2019, I founded The Crypto Staunch while trying to figure out how to invest and earn from different cryptocurrencies. I started the blog because I had the urge to start teaching other enthusiasts like me who may be interested in the crypto-world like me.
Along the line, I started researching and writing all the processes involved in my journey towards investing in each crypto-project. Sometimes, I go as far as introducing them to the exact cryptocurrency airdrops I have on my own portfolio.
How does The Crypto Staunch innovate?
Mr. KingsHOK: I am currently testing out buying and selling of cryptocurrencies using different platforms to my clients. As soon as the market gets smooth for me and more people’s needs are met, I will also set up a marketplace where people can easily buy and sell their crypto assets online and on The Crypto Staunch platform.
How does the coronavirus pandemic affect your business finances?
Mr. KingsHOK: The life-blood of every blogging business is traffic. And I will say that the coronavirus pandemic has helped many people to start looking into investments, especially that of cryptocurrency investment par say.
With that being said, the organic traffic to my website kind of improved noticeably, and the wave has been on since the beginning of the pandemic till right now and am graciously happy over it because my bottom lines, like the Adsense, earning, and affiliate earning also increased by up to 400%.
Did you have to make difficult choices regarding human resources, and what are the lessons learned?
Mr. KingsHOK: I never really tried employing anyone since I started working on my blog by myself. Though my wife has been helping in one way or another, but nothing much to say in terms of human resources for now.
However, I intend to employ people as soon as it’s been deemed necessary for the future status of the entire business, depending on the angle it’s been valued as well.
How did your customer relationship management evolve? Do you use any specific tools to be efficient?
Mr. KingsHOK: Gmail and my CPanel email features got my back for this one. I’ve been using email to interact with my audiences who try to reach me for one help or the other during the whole course of the business.
Recently, I created a telegram channel for keeping my audience up to date with the latest airdrops in the market, so they can earn as many crypto-coin tokens while still learning about how the entire market works.
Did you benefit from any government grants, and did that help keep your business afloat?
Mr. KingsHOK: In Nigeria, there’s nothing like government grants, and all I ever know is just loans. These loans are very difficult to get, which is more like for people who don’t seem to have anywhere they can earn to support their startup.
In my own case, I funded my startup and am still funding it with the income, and sometimes, I dip my hands into my own pocket to make it work out.
Since I am also a web developer and designer, I do almost everything by myself, including generating organic traffic, because I am also an SEO professional who has been working for my other startups and bloggers for over 8 years now.
Your final thoughts?
Mr. KingsHOK: I wish to earn more from my website through advertisements and affiliate programs that help my audience. Though I am not really super focused on just making money off the startup, I want to be in the first place for any individual who wants to invest in cryptocurrency.
Currently, over 20,000 visitors do come to my website to learn how they can earn money online by investing in some kind of digital assets known as cryptocurrencies.
