Muhammad Abdullah Health Archives

We talked to 23 years old Muhammad Abdullah about his journey and growth amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

First of all, how are you and your family doing in these COVID-19 times?

Muhammad Abdullah: Thank you for asking. We are following maintaining social distancing and trying our best to stay safe.

Tell us about you, your career, how you founded Health Archives.

Muhammad Abdullah: As a 23 years old young entrepreneur and technology enthusiast, I always wanted to bring value to people’s lives using technology. Health Archives is my recent project, and it has a story behind it. I lost my father a year ago; he died due to a sudden heart attack. He also had diabetes and high blood pressure, and to spread awareness about a healthy lifestyle, what kind of food one should be taking for a healthy lifestyle, I pledged to start a health website to cover these aspects. And that’s how Health Archives was founded.

Other than Health Archives, I also founded several other websites like NoobSpace (noobspace.com / a how-to guides hub for beginners), TechTout (techtout.com / latest tech news website), WPSack (wpsack.com / a hub for WordPress news, tutorials, and guides), and few other projects are in the pipeline. These websites come under GameBird Media (gamebirdmedia.com).

How does Health Archives innovate?

Muhammad Abdullah: We aimed to cover the latest health topics, especially relating to COVID-19. We tried to spread awareness among people about Covid 19 and ways to protect themselves. We worked hard in these challenging times to ensure that more and more people can get this message and protect themselves during this pandemic and tried our best to make this site helpful for readers.

How the coronavirus pandemic affects your business, and how are you coping?

Muhammad Abdullah: Coronavirus has affected our business in a lot of ways. Few of our staff members were affected by the virus, but thankfully, they’ve recovered now. It confined us to our houses. Enabling our team to work remotely was also a piece of work. We also lost Ads revenue during these challenging times, but now, we are recovering from our losses, and hopefully, the COVID-19 vaccine will make things better. During these challenging times, we were also affected by a hacking attempt, and our website lost plenty; fortunately, we were able to get back online and get some of our content live.

Did you have to make difficult choices, and what are the lessons learned?

Muhammad Abdullah: Being a media publishing house, we had to work from home. It was hard to collaborate with the members initially, but our team’s cooperation made it convenient to cope with the problems during this challenging time. I’m grateful to the team for staying strong together. The most important lesson we learned during this global pandemic was that we could go through anything if we work together as a team. If you’re united and motivated, no one can beat you, even COVID-19.

It isn’t easy to take people with you to work on your passion, and you cannot find cooperation until you start working yourself. Don’t wait for anyone; move alone; people will be your companions on your way. It’ll make a caravan.

How do you deal with stress and anxiety?

Muhammad Abdullah: Lately, we’ve planned more anxiety and stress-related content, and you will read more in the future. That’s because we all struggle with stress and anxiety. I try to remain as much positive as I can. I spend time with my family and friends to overcome these emotions; if not, I distract myself by watching something on Netflix. I also make sure that I help out others during this period. Not only because it brings peace to your heart and soul but also when you help out others in need, God will also fix your matters. It not only brings peace to you, but the feeling of assisting others can take your anxiety and stress away. The only way to deal with anxiety and stress is that never give up; it won’t last.

Who are your competitors? And how do you plan to stay in the game?

Muhammad Abdullah: There’s no competition, not really. I think all the health websites out there are trying to create an impact on people’s lives. We’re just filling that small gap on the web to create unique content that will help readers.

My competition is with perfection. I’m trying my best to take my website to the top and make it the best incredible source on health news. We are also planning more content that adds value to not only the website but also the lives of our readers. We want our readers to pick healthy choices in their food and lifestyle. That’s one of the goals of Health Archives.

Your final thoughts?

Muhammad Abdullah: My final thought is a message that you should always believe in yourself and never quit your passion. You are the only person who can protect your dream. If you don’t believe in yourself, nobody will. It takes everything to stand alone. Make sure you don’t ever give up.
