Ofer Lidsky EXCELLENT BRAIN

Ofer Lidsky, founder of Excellent Brain tells us how they specialize in the development of computer-brain interface technologies using neurofeedback.

First of all, how are you and your family doing in these COVID-19 times?

Ofer Lidsky: Thank you for asking! It was a very challenging year for everyone on the planet. On the other hand, I really love being at home and working from home. So we tried to make the best out of this crazy pandemic.

Tell us about you, your career, and how you founded Excellent Brain.

Ofer Lidsky: I am an experienced entrepreneur. In fact, I got my first job at a computer company at the age of 12 and opened my first company at the age of 19. All my life, I have been learning science and technology in order to be able to develop big and simple solutions to huge problems. And this is exactly what I did with Excellent Brain, which I founded in 2015. The company is focused on helping people by making the Neurofeedback brain training method accessible and affordable.

How does Excellent Brain innovate?

Ofer Lidsky: Excellent Brain has developed one of the most innovative Neurofeedback brain training platforms that enable people to train their brain at home, at school, and more.

How the coronavirus pandemic affects your business, and how are you coping?

Ofer Lidsky: Since Excellent Brain enables the possibility to train the attention ability at home and is very recommended to people diagnosed with ADHD during the pandemic, we made it possible for many families to perform brain training at home. And this was a year that many kids around the world had to spend many days at home.

Did you have to make difficult choices, and what are the lessons learned?

Ofer Lidsky: When the pandemic started, many businesses laid off or put on vacation most of their employees. We tried to keep all our employees working full time almost the entire year of the pandemic.

What specific tools, software, and management skills are you using to navigate this crisis?

Ofer Lidsky: I think one of the most important tools for a business is marketing and sales statistics. Especially during times of crisis and uncertainty, there is a growing need to measure as much as possible and to make quick changes that are needed because of the crisis. The agile and fast companies to make changes are the ones who will make most of the profit and most likely win the game.

Who are your competitors? And how do you plan to stay in the game?

Ofer Lidsky: We have several good competitors from around the world. We think competition is good, as long as it is not too much. As for staying and winning the game, we excel in innovation, and we intend to keep on developing the most innovative technology and features like we have been doing for the past years. This is one of the keys.

Your final thoughts?

Ofer Lidsky: If you try to do big things, you might succeed. If you do not try, you will never succeed. So, dream big and do big things, but always remember to be realistic and understand the obligation and work needed to accomplish things.
