We talked to Olga Pavuka, Founder & CEO at DeepH about keeping the body fit and healthy with the DeepH App

First of all, how are you and your family doing in these COVID-19 times?

Olga Pavuka: We all are dreaming of freedom, the possibility to travel, breathe freely and live a normal life as soon as possible.

Tell us about you, your career, how you founded DeepH.

Olga Pavuka: The company was founded 3 years ago. We wanted to create a product which can help people on the way to conscious living, health and happiness. We believe that health and happiness depend on every individual’s actions, and we wanted to provide an easy to use tool to support people on this challenging path. DeepH has developed an innovative and easy-to-use app to help people deal with stress, sleep deeper and feel better.

So at the moment, we offer our users health, activity and vitals tracking and monitoring with feedback and recommendations, Sound healing meditations created by shamans and spiritual practitioners from around the globe, and a blog devoted to physical health, mental health, happiness, consciousness and collective evolution.

How does DeepH innovate?

Olga Pavuka: We are trying to combine health tracking with the most advanced technologies with spiritual practices, sound healing, meditations, positive affirmations all in one place; to bring together all the tools which can help people feel better, find happiness, body/mind balance and inner peace, which is quite innovative I suppose.

How is the coronavirus pandemic affecting your business and how are you coping?

Olga Pavuka: We always worked in a “virtual office” with team members all around the world, so we were not affected much in terms of the working process.

Did you have to make difficult choices and what are the lessons learned?

Olga Pavuka: Actually our team was working more and more productively and creatively, we are now implementing new features we were able to create during the quarantine. There were less non-working activities and more time for reflection and analysis. It was quite positive in terms of work.

What specific tools, software and management skills are you using to navigate this crisis?

Olga Pavuka: We were able to make more profound analytics, using Firebase, Google Data Studio, Appsflyer, create a roadmap for next iterations, and found new team members.

The main problem is that people are very tired of limited freedom and it mostly affects mood and mental health, so patience and inner strength are super important at the moment. However, we know how to deal with it using mind and body discipline.

Who are your competitors? And how do you plan to stay in the game?

Olga Pavuka: A lot is happening in the health and fitness field at the moment. But we do believe that after the pandemic there will be a huge demand for mental health and wellbeing products. So we plan just to do what we are doing, keep working and improve the product as much as we can.

Your final thoughts?

Olga Pavuka: We can reframe our understandings of health and wellness. We can become more self-aware of our bodies and in doing so can learn about different ways of addressing our health and wellness concerns. We can shift how we think about them. We can educate ourselves about the appropriate actions we can take to impact our health in positive ways. Consciously choosing to take those actions is empowering. Personal health is our responsibility, and we should be encouraged to take better care of ourselves. Prevention is the key to any health condition, and it all starts by living a healthy lifestyle. Movement and exercise are crucial for a healthy life. The physical activity ensures that the whole person—body, mind, and spirit— remain strong, flexible, and balanced. Practicing mindfulness and stress reduction habits can help you manage life’s daily stressors. Meditation, breathing, and other techniques enable you to keep stress and anxiety under control. Forming some good lifestyle habits can help you to reduce stress levels and maximize your energy levels on a day-to-day basis… Your health and wellness are your biggest assets that fuel your energy, your focus, and the quality of life for everything you do. Only you can define the life you live, and the life you live ultimately shapes the lives of those around you
