We talked to Pasquale Mellone, founder at on how to drive 3x more customers with digital marketing agency and here is what he said about it.

First of all, how are you and your family doing in these COVID-19 times?

Pasquale Mellone: We are doing well, thank you. I have been working from home since March. My wife is currently working from home too.

Tell us about you, your career, how you founded

Pasquale Mellone: I have been in digital for the last +15 years. I started my career in Italy as a Web Content Editor and Contributor to several webzines. In 2008 I moved to Ireland, where I currently live, to work on online marketing strategies for hotels, which at the time it meant mainly SEO and Google Ads.

Gradually, I moved to less technical and more strategic roles, first in Microsoft and then for a US startup, where I was Director of Account Management for the EMEA region.

How does innovate?

Pasquale Mellone: is a digital strategy agency focusing on filling the gap between strategy and execution.

In my research, I found a gap between strategy and execution. Many full-service or specialized digital agencies only focus on the service offered, while on the other hand, many marketing agencies only focus on the strategy. brings these two worlds together by crafting and executing digital marketing strategies for SMEs and brands.

How the coronavirus pandemic affects your business, and how are you coping?

Thankfully, the business has been quite stable since the start of the pandemic, and to some extent, the workload has increased in comparison to before Coronavirus.

This is mostly because we are not industry-specific, but it’s also due to a higher awareness from businesses about the importance of having a strong online presence.

Did you have to make difficult choices, and what are the lessons learned?

Pasquale Mellone: Working remotely, it’s important to be present for your team. I do that by making sure I am in touch regularly through video calls or chat messaging.

At the same time, it’s important to work as efficiently as possible. We do so by making use of some great tools like Asana and HubSpot CRM.

What specific tools, software, and management skills are helping you navigate the crisis?

Pasquale Mellone: As mentioned above, Asana and HubSpot are two great tools that we use.

Wave and Simple Pay are also two great tools for accounting and payroll that can help you minimize costs.

Who are your competitors? And how do you plan to stay in the game?

Pasquale Mellone: The digital marketing industry is extremely competitive. If we take this statement to the extreme, anybody with a laptop could start their own digital marketing business.

Another downside of this is that the industry is saturated with low quality and low price services that attract businesses that are budget conscious.

Our offer is focused on the value-added by our strategic approach and realistic goals and objectives.

More recently, we have been trying to differentiate our offer by launching a number of digital marketing products, like Canva templates, that customers can buy and download directly online.

Pasquale Mellone: The pandemic is challenging for millions of people and hundreds of thousands of businesses.
