1. First of all, how are you and your family doing in these COVID19 times?

Pavel Shcherbakov : Doing great but got some logistics problems. Small things like wiping out stuff like grocery delivery goods turn out more complicated than expected.

2. Tell us about you, your career, how you founded or joined Nimbus web

Pavel Shcherbakov : I moved from Uzbekistan to the US 10 years ago. In 2014 I founded Nimbus Web Inc. We managed to 100% bootstrap company that has products with several millions of users. We passed all stages from idea to large product without any outside help.

3. How does Nimbus web innovate?

Pavel Shcherbakov : We constantly improve our internal processes. We effectively use our own products to stay productive and organized.

4. How the coronavirus pandemic affects your business and how are you coping?

Pavel Shcherbakov : Since the very beginning, we were a fully remote team. We have a very conscious team and established workflow that helps us continue growing. Because of the huge experience building company remotely, Covid-19 almost didn’t affect us.

5. Did you have to make difficult choices and what are the lessons learned?

Pavel Shcherbakov : I think that part of doing business is to constantly make difficult decisions. There is no way you can get away from that. In terms of Covid-19, we didn’t change much, just cut marketing expenses instead of firing people.

6. How do you deal with stress and anxiety, how do you project yourself and Nimbus web in the future?

Pavel Shcherbakov : I think I’m doing very well because for me that’s part of the job. Same as for firefighters, they step into difficult situations almost every day. I think the right mindset helps a lot – accept it as a part of the daily routine.
The feature is great, our products are built for remote collaboration, so more people and companies will switch to remote work.

7. Who are your competitors? And how do you plan to stay in the game?

Pavel Shcherbakov : A healthy competition is great! It moves the World forward. Evernote, Notion, Google Docs – one of our competitors. We’re very efficient. Having a fully remote team and processes help us finding talents in any part of the world.

8. Your final thoughts

Pavel Shcherbakov : Never give up, stay positive and healthy. The right mindset is key to success.

9. Your website
