Prathap R. of Vodapav tells us about creating stories of sandalwood.

First of all, how are you and your family doing in these COVID-19 times?

Prathap R: The COVID-19 pandemic has had a major effect on our daily life. Recently we reinvented daily work from home, and many of us who stayed at home in the past year struggled to travel from one place to another place. Additionally, COVID-19 has taught a lifetime lesson that safety measures are really important, which need to be followed, such as social distance, wearing a mask, and sanitization. We have coped up online and made it a seamless process.

Tell us about you, your career, how you founded Vodapav.

Prathap R: I am a Civil Engineer, and I wanted to start my own business, and I am interested in Computer Science. When I was in college, I had an idea about creating something which I was dreaming would come true – my own business, like the Entertainment news portal or Indiatimes, flimbeats, IWMBuzz, Scoopwhoop, Bollywood Hungama, Koimoi, etc. Then I decided to create a website to start my carrier on the website. I founded Vodapav media in 2019 and started my career in that company. Now I am working on it for engaging content.

How does Vodapav innovate?

Prathap R: We have Innvovated in different ways:

· We research a lot to gain users’ attention.

· We make commitments and dedication towards work.

· Hassle-Free Work.

· Good interaction between employees.

· We will work for the user’s mind, and what articles they need to read on our website.

· We write for entertainment, food, lifestyle category.

· Users’ feedback most considered.

How the coronavirus pandemic affects your business, and how are you coping?

Prathap R: Well, since the company is online-based, the covid-19 didn’t affect us much. In some cases, we received test positive in our team, and they were unable to work, but we have taken safety measures and allowed them to work from home.

Did you have to make difficult choices, and what are the lessons learned?

Prathap R: Obviously, there are several difficulties in achieving success. When confronting difficulty, we make sure to make a stride back and take a gander at the master plan and discover a path around it. It’s made us more grounded both as a group and as a brand, and it’s unquestionably been a great test to need to think all the more imaginatively!

What specific tools, software, and management skills are you using to navigate this crisis?

Prathap R: We are using social media tools like Facebook, Instagram, etc., to bring visitors from social media. We are using HubSpot, and I have learned WordPress, digital marketing tools to manage day-to-day operations. Additionally, we are using tools like Photoshop, Picsart, IFFFT, Yandex. These are the main tools for daily work operations.

Who are your competitors? And how do you plan to stay in the game?

Prathap R: There are a number of competitors, among them Metrosaga, IWMbuzz, and Koimoi. Despite using different strategies to grab users’ attention and rival competitors, we mainly focus on users’ needs and by that, we maintain consistency on work.

Your final thoughts?

Prathap R: Never give up, be committed to working, try until you succeed; everything is possible because the word impossible itself tells that I am possible. Nothing can stop you from chasing your dreams.
