We talked to Sanjay Singhania, founder of Internet Marketing School about the most powerful digital marketing course for students and professionals and this is what he said about it.

First of all, how are you and your family doing in these COVID-19 times? 

Sanjay Singhania: Everything is very good.

Tell us about you, your career, and how you founded Internet Marketing School.

Sanjay Singhania: With over 15 years of experience working with top Indian Companies in the education industry and advertising industry, I decided to start my own Company, Innovative Media Services,  in the year 2009. Since then we have grown from a one-man army to a strong and powerful team of around 150 people and from 1 office to 7 offices PAN India. Due to our spontaneous, immediate, and cost-effective solutions being given to our clients by our experts, our clients have preferred to stay with us since the inception of the Company.

In 2015 we started our Digital Marketing training centers, Internet Marketing School, and started training people on these strong marketing services. Currently, we have 10 centers in PAN India where we are grooming people in the Digital marketing domain.

How does Internet Marketing School innovate? 

Sanjay Singhania: We train our students on digital marketing and with our own agency’s clients, we provide live experience to our students to work on real-time projects. In the process, everything gets optimized and everyone gets rewarded, we, students as well as clients. Both our advertising and education business complement each other with benefits to students as well as clients. We even place our students at client’s locations on our payroll which benefits and satisfies the clients to a huge extent.

How does the coronavirus pandemic affect your business finances?

Sanjay Singhania: Not really. We do not believe in blaming any situation for the effect on your business. We believe that every worst situation brings in a lot of opportunities. That’s what we did during the coronavirus pandemic too. We initiated real-time trainer based online training on digital marketing during this pandemic and this opened up a new avenue for us.

Did you have to make difficult choices regarding human resources and what are the lessons learned?

Sanjay Singhania: Human Resources are the key resources in our business. Identifying the right people not only in terms of technical knowledge but all other aspects like discipline, loyalty, attitude are the major decisions to be made by an owner of the Company. At times when you are growing there may be some wrong choices but identifying the wrong choices at the earliest and replacing them with the right choices immediately can make a lot of difference.

How did your customer relationship management evolve? Do you use any specific tools to be efficient?

Sanjay Singhania: Initially getting new customers was the target. Once some customers were on board with us we started experiencing different nature of requirements and demands of customers. At one point in time, we understood that CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP is the core for our business to develop strong goodwill and word of mouth in the market necessary for expansion. We now have dedicated customer relationship managers to help our customers receive solutions to their requirements and demands.

Did you benefit from any government grants, and did that help keep your business afloat?

Sanjay Singhania: No. We did not invest our time to understand the Government grants and explore them rather we thought of investing our precious time to innovate things and introduce new products (courses) in the market. We believe in the quote “ GOD HELPS THOSE WHO HELP THEMSELVES”

Your final thoughts?

Sanjay Singhania: Digital Marketing is going to be a need-based solution to all businesses housed in any industry. Thankfully we are in the right industry and people who get linked with us are also going to benefit from this evolution that’s happening.
