Sanjeev Kumar of OurNetHelps tells us about teaching digital marketing to the youth of today.
First of all, how are you and your family doing in these COVID-19 times?
Sanjeev Kumar: Thank you for asking! We are doing good. These are some tough times for sure, but humanity is still alive, which has made these times bearable. Everyone has come together to fight these difficult circumstances. I hope you and your readers are fine as well.
Tell us about you, your career, how you founded OurNetHelps.
Sanjeev Kumar: I started my career back in 2014 when I start working with one of the Digital Marketing Companies. I have always been passionate about SEO and web design. These fields have intrigued me. I worked in SEO, Web Development, and Graphic Design before establishing my own company. I quit my day job in 2015 and started OurNetHelp in 2016. This was a big step in my career and risk as well. But I had belief in my hard work and persistent strength to go on. OurNetHelps is a platform that aims to teach digital marketing to the youth of today. Our company offers many online courses from digital marketing to web development.
How does OurNetHelps innovate?
Sanjeev Kumar: Our company understands the demands of the time and keeps in touch with the ever-changing technology and trends. Our customers are our first and foremost priority. So, we design and bring innovation into our courses according to their needs.
How does the coronavirus pandemic affect your business finances?
Sanjeev Kumar: As this is an online company, we haven’t been hit by the coronavirus as bad as some other companies have been. But we understand that our students are now in no position to pay tons of money for the online courses. To cope with the situation better, we have introduced some courses on a budget, and we have packages for students because our students are our essential asset.
Did you have to make difficult choices regarding human resources, and what are the lessons learned?
Sanjeev Kumar: As the head of the company, you always have to make some decisions which aren’t necessarily easy to take, but at the end of the day, the betterment of the company depends on those decisions, so you have to go forward with them. We have learned valuable lessons from our mistakes, and we know we are more robust than before.
How did your customer relationship management evolve? Do you use any specific tools to be efficient?
Sanjeev Kumar: The people at my company have worked very hard at developing customer relationship management. The best step we have taken is the introduction of customer service on our website. Now our students can contact us directly if any problem persists, and this has helped us built a rapport with them.
Did you benefit from any government grants, and did that help keep your business afloat?
Sanjeev Kumar: The Government of India has helped its citizens by introducing an INR 20 Trillion Covid relief package. Things are improving, and we hope to see the vaccine in the country soon as well. Due to these measures, our business has been efficiently working in the lockdown.

Sanjeev Kumar: Ournethelps aims to provide knowledge and learning skills to students all around the world. I am glad that we were able to provide these services to so many people during the lockdown. We are near the end of the pandemic, and I sincerely hope that the world returns to normal soon. This is the best time for students to learn and explore digital marketing.
