First of all, how are you and your family doing in these COVID-19 times?

Shaykh Naseer: We are good by the almighty GOD who has saved us during the pandemic with good health.

Tell us about you, your career, how you founded BoxedCMS.

Shaykh Naseer: I graduated from Computer Science Engineering and had always envisioned starting my own company. I was never interested in the old school methodology of learning stuff but was very active in solving problems of an individual or a business. We built software that eases the job with great looks and usability.

How does BoxedCMS innovate?

Shaykh Naseer: BoxedCMS is a Custom Content Management System unlike any other CMS available in the market which offers any feature/design customization based on the client’s needs.

How does the coronavirus pandemic affect your business finances?

Shaykh Naseer: Coronavirus has definitely affected our business since the clients were not making any quick decision to start a new venture, It impacted the finances during the pandemic.

Did you have to make difficult choices regarding human resources and what are the lessons learned?

Shaykh Naseer: Yes! We struggled with human resources, and we learned that during pandemic it was a bit of an issue with online meetings and coordination with the team.

How did your customer relationship management evolve? Do you use any specific tools to be efficient?

Shaykh Naseer: Yes, We used the Trello board to keep a track of the projects and our clients.

Did you benefit from any government grants, and did that help keep your business afloat?

Shaykh Naseer: No! We don’t benefit from any government help.

Shaykh Naseer: Covid-19 has impacted well in everyone’s life to learn more about the facts to stay updated. Hopefully, 2021 will be a good start to the First Quarter of business.
