We talked to Suditree Devya, CEO of TendToRead about how payment processing can help contractors grow their small business, and this is what she said:
First of all, how are you and your family doing in these COVID-19 times?
Suditree Devya: I really glad to answer this question. COVID-19 times we are so lucky that our family and I were safe. I am thankful to God and the people who support us at this peak time.
Tell us about you, your career, how you founded TendToRead.
Suditree Devya: I’m passionate about technology and the internet. So I’d started my journey in 2014 with 2 teams and all of them are working in IT companies at that time. Then day by day we start getting projects and we are very generous to work on that. I have always been enthusiastic about the IT industry and I wanted to bring my knowledge to software and technology industry. Which help me to get out of this job and finally we have launched our company.
How does TendToRead innovate?
Suditree Devya: We are very curious about our company, all people here are 10 years of experience in the technology industry. We got the first project related to real estate which is based in the United States and from that project we got 5 more projects on behalf of them. We are still working hard to get our company at the best level and adding more technologies which will enhance our projects and that will also help our clients.
How does the coronavirus pandemic affect your business finances?
Suditree Devya: The truth behind this is yes our business got affected a little bit but not anymore. Thanks to our clients who supported us on this peak time which added value to our company at the best level. After 6 months the pandemic also increased our sales in the health industry which increased our company value and it’s still going safe.
Did you have to make difficult choices regarding human resources and what are the lessons learned?
Suditree Devya: To maintain stability for any company it is essential for their operation and leads. In the pandemic time, we face many difficulties related to our financial planning. We always support our staff and management in any difficult situation.
How did your customer relationship management evolve? Do you use any specific tools to be efficient?
Suditree Devya: Most of our team members are working remotely after the pandemic. We use our staff skills to manage our projects and which makes them successful. So I work with people that I’ve never met personally. Sometimes it is hard, but if you keep simple basic processes, it is much more sustainable work and which increases your man work with your management relationship.
About the tools, we mostly use Slack, Google Sheet, Selenium, and Agency analytics. These tools are very productive for our business goals.
Did you benefit from any government grants, and did that help keep your business afloat?
Suditree Devya: No.
Your final thoughts?
Suditree Devya: After 2020 I’ve learnt a lot of things. When you are in trouble or in any situation where you cannot think more than always do your best and that best work will pay you in that meantime. Always reads books which makes your mind more creative and useful. One quote from my side: ‘Life is like ice cream, enjoy it before it melts.’
