Your products and services
Democratic & Collaborative portal. www.bbrh.live
This portal is made for citizens, entrepreneurs, municipal services as well as utilities in Beau-Bassin/Rose-Hill, one of the main cities in Mauritius, the city where I live and work. All services are free for citizens and SMEs.
Your success factors
If SMEs and Entrepreneurs sell more, they will have no choice than to create jobs. The project will then be a success for the society where I live. A jobless society brings social instability and insecurity. When people have a job, the economy grows and the society is in general peaceful.
Your factors differentiating and disruptive compared to the existing
In almost all economies, government look for investments and foreign direct investment to create jobs and grow the economy. Only the happy few reap the fruits from investments and the rich become richer. My model is a bottom-up approach to help the lowest income become more competitive and have access to new markets. My project uses Civic Tech concepts and citizens collaboration to achieve a goal.
There are none that connects citizens, entrepreneurs and municipal services.
Your business model (how do you make money?)
Services to municipal services and utilities are provided at a monthly fee.
A few words about your competitors
None has yet moved with an integrated concept based on a moto: “It is not bad to do Good”.
