Thomas Reberholt of TEX-TRYK tells us about screen-printing.

First of all, how are you and your family doing in these COVID-19 times?

Thomas Reberholt: Very fine. We live in a country where we feel very isolated but safe than out there.

Tell us about you, your career, how you joined TEX-TRYK.

Thomas Reberholt: It is my father’s company. I have worked here for the better part of my life, and I love it. The company is very old as we were one of the first companies in Denmark to do screen-printing.

How does TEX-TRYK innovate?

Thomas Reberholt: We don´t. We work hard and make sure all clients are happy; thus, they tell their friends about us. We work in old craftsmanship, and it is not possible to be very innovative.

How the coronavirus pandemic affects your business, and how are you coping?

Thomas Reberholt: Orders greatly reduced, but since we are a family business and have saved a lot of money for a long time, we are still going strong. We can survive for a long time still. Also, we try to sell other products such as saftywest mask to protect people against coronavirus infections.

Did you have to make difficult choices, and what are the lessons learned?

Thomas Reberholt: No, although we have to be ready to make big changes such as laying off some employees.

What specific tools, software, and management skills are you using to navigate this crisis?

Thomas Reberholt: We use morningscore for the SEO part of the company to identify new profitable opportunities.

Who are your competitors? And how do you plan to stay in the game?

Thomas Reberholt: All screen-printing companies are our competitors. We have to save for this kind of crisis so that our operations can stay continue even when all competitors go out of business.
