Dr. Travis and Michelle Fox are “Innovators” Revolutionizing Entrepreneurship, Which Has Exploded in Popularity Since the Pandemic

Tell us about your career and how you founded Ultimate Business Quest.
Michelle: Instead of the traditional college route, I sought out mentorship, as many of my entrepreneurial counterparts have done. My untraditional trajectory saw me sitting on multiple boards before the age of 30, and this eye inside of the C-Suite helped me master corporate launch and acquisition strategies before going out on my own to consult. I realized that fear and self-doubt hold entrepreneurs back, so Travis and I began brainstorming ways to combat those negative emotions and propel budding business leaders into success.
Travis: As a result of my background in psychology and hypnotherapy, I have devoted the past 30 years of my life to architecting lives and uplifting fellow entrepreneurs onstage. My multi-faceted experience and expertise in building businesses made me the perfect partner for my co-pilot (and co-founder) Michelle. We both saw how young entrepreneurs wanted to do big things but struggled to believe that they had the proper tools or skills to achieve what they wanted. That’s where Ultimate Business Quest comes in to save the day.
How does the Ultimate Business Quest innovate?
Michelle: In the past two years, we have seen how discontent in the workplace can lead to significant changes in the workforce, like the “Great Resignation.” People don’t want to be told what to do anymore – they want to become their own boss.
Travis: The idea of becoming an entrepreneur is exciting, but without proper guidance, it’s an uphill battle. Compared to colleges, consultants, and business coaches, our app Business Empire provides budding entrepreneurs invaluable assets like business blueprints and leadership training at a fraction of the cost and time while using gamification tactics proven to increase learning absorption. By making learning fun, we encourage aspiring business leaders to pursue their dream of becoming the CEO they want to be.
How did the coronavirus pandemic affect your business?
Michelle: COVID only strengthened our idea that anyone can be a successful entrepreneur with the right tools, especially when the tools are right in your pocket. Being able to learn and grow on your own time is in tune with the entrepreneurial spirit – we are self-motivated, have immense willpower, and love a good challenge.
Travis: With the financial upheaval following the pandemic, we want to encourage entrepreneurs to keep their heads down and not allow inhibitions to cloud their vision. Despite the turbulent nature of the world right now, the Ultimate Business Quest had the honor of recently awarding two dedicated individuals with monetary funds to support their businesses. The pandemic pushed us to encourage, engage, focus, and work harder to support the entrepreneurs who deserve it.
What are the current trends in the business training industry, and how fast is it changing?
Michelle: Since the pandemic, in-person business trainings have slowed exponentially, opening the door to more remote-friendly options. We embrace the increased popularity of podcasts as a platform to share tips and tricks in a casual, thought-provoking manner.
Travis: The Ultimate Business Quest podcast unleashes a new opportunity for us to coach and mentor on a much larger scale. In each episode, I interview experts on mastering business and life, hopefully inspiring even the most reserved listeners to embrace their inner entrepreneur.
Who is the target audience of Ultimate Business Quest? Do you have any exciting partnerships?
Michelle: Our goal is to encourage entrepreneurs, from those looking to build their idea from the ground up to established business leaders, to embrace the hard work and perseverance necessary for success. We want to target anyone with self-motivation looking for a change because, at the end of the day, anyone can become an entrepreneur with the right mindset.
Travis: Our go-getter attitude and resiliency to succeed have attracted entrepreneurial heavy hitters to join the board of our larger company AllRealms, including the founder of 24 Hour Fitness (Eric Levine) and advisor to Quest Nutrition and Legendary Foods (Bruce Cardenas).
How do you see the future of Ultimate Business Quest? What are the next steps for the company?
Michelle: This is just the beginning for Ultimate Business Quest and our larger company AllRealms. We’re constantly innovating, looking for areas where we can apply our entrepreneurial expertise and ultimately help others succeed at being their best selves.
Travis: We’ll be replicating the concept of gamified learning in the parenting and relationship arenas, as those are two specialized skill sets of our team at Ultimate Business Quest — especially Aaron Huey and Sifu John Goff. There’s no requirement to embark on a questing journey besides the willingness to do the work, and we’re to the moon with excitement to help even more people through these new apps we have in motion.
