We talked to Vikas Bhatt of Only B2B about how the marketing agency is committed to assisting organizations that rely on quality data with Superior Verified Leads and Content Promotion and here is what he said about it.
First of all, how are you and your family doing in these COVID-19 times?
Vikas Bhatt; It has been a tough time for families and businesses alike across the world. However, this pandemic has come as a blessing in disguise as we were able to spend more time with each other in the family.
Tell us about you, your career, how you founded Only B2B.
Vikas Bhatt: I was born in a lower-middle-class family whose sole purpose was to get a college degree and work for some multinational corporation. I had some other plans and always wanted to start my own business. As a kid, I didn’t know what business it would be, but I was sure I would have my own business one day. I have more than 12 years of work experience in Marketing, Online Media and Call centre Industry. I founded Only B2B alongside my partner in August 2014 with the sole purpose of delivering premium leads/services to B2B companies around the world.
How does Only B2B innovate?
Vikas Bhatt: Over the last 6 years since we began, we have introduced a variety of services for our clients which are better than our previous services utilized by our clients. For example, when we started, we offered just 3 services, and in the last 6 years it has grown to 12+ services, and we are always happy to modify our services based on clients’ needs.
How the coronavirus pandemic affects your business, and how are you coping?
Vikas Bhatt: As telemarketing / B2B Call centre is one of the services we offer, we had no idea that someday we will have to move our entire call centre to work virtually and we never thought it was possible in our wildest dream. Luckily our team was able to pivot within 3-4 days of the government announcing the lockdown, and our tech team made it all look so simple.
Did you have to make difficult choices, and what are the lessons learned?
Vikas Bhatt: We made a difficult decision to deduct certain % of salaries for everyone, but this was done with one good intention that nobody loses their job in the pandemic. Our teams decided to make a little sacrifice and stick together as we knew this pandemic is temporary and will pass soon.
What specific tools, software and management skills are you using to navigate this crisis?
Vikas Bhatt: We changed as many manual processes as possible to automate them. For example, we hired a B2B CRM company and moved our entire team to a new system. Of course, with adequate training. We all started having daily, and the weekly team meets using Zoom, Google meet and other tools. We all learned the importance of Office socializing and had gratitude for having such a wonderful team to work with. Whom we missed dearly during the lockdown. Our management team keeps themselves and the team updated on all news and initiatives that could help individuals and organizations.
Who are your competitors? And how do you plan to stay in the game?
Vikas Bhatt: Any marketing or an online media company that provides demand/lead gen service is our competitor. We plan to stay in the game by providing exceptional value to our clients from the services they use.
