We talked to Yvan Dupuy of Neoproduits about his media company and here is what he said about it.

First of all, how are you and your family doing in these COVID-19 times? 

Yvan Dupuy: My family are I are great despite the Covid-19 times. You have to adapt and take profit in such a period to improve yourself and your business.

Tell us about you, your career, how you founded Neoproduits?

Yvan Dupuy: I am the CEO at Neoproduits. This media site was founded in 2010. I worked as a purchaser in a certain company at this period, but I willed to create my own business in media. The name of my brand “Neoproduits” came one night when I was trying to sleep.

How does Neoproduits innovate? 

Yvan Dupuy: Well, the first thing is that, as a media, I do not produce any good. My innovation ideas are mainly focused on relating to my readers innovating start-ups, new concepts launched on the markets. The digital issue is quite wild, so you have to deal with the relevant subjects for your readers. I deal with subjects like artificial intelligence, robotics, social networks, new mobilities in France, and across the world.

How does the coronavirus pandemic affect your business finances? 

Yvan Dupuy: Having an online media during Coronavirus pandemic is a strength. So, my turnover is quite stable, which is quite a good indicator during these hard times. I got many contacts for partnerships with other CEO’s and affiliate partners as well.

Did you have to make difficult choices regarding human resources, and what are the lessons learned? 

Yvan Dupuy: I am the only employee of my company, so I did not face any human resources issues.

How did your customer relationship management evolve? Do you use any specific tools to be efficient? 

Yvan Dupuy: With Covid-19, customers are more careful about their investments in media and articles. So an order is not a must after having established a quotation for them. You have to be patient. The main tool is to take care of your customers’ relationships and be aware of how your environment is evolving.

Did you benefit from any government grants and did that help keep your business afloat? 

Yvan Dupuy: I did the first month of the apparition of the Covid. Now my business workflow is quite stable, so I do not need this kind of help anymore.

Yvan Dupuy: If you want to be efficient as a media CEO, you have to always look around you, have positive thinking, and work your adaptability skills.
