Florida Beaches

Beaches in Florida are known for soft sand, amazing settings, and a wide variety of activities. From nature lovers to romantic couples to families with kids, these breathtaking sandy stretches host everyone.

If you are booking flights to Florida, fondly called the Sunshine State, you can include these seven beaches in your bucket list:

Miami Beach

This beach is irreplaceable! It is primarily popular among travelers who enjoy the city beach scene, sand packed with visitors.  On the southern end of Miami Beach, South Beach is a great spot for swimming, surfing, and a wide range of other activities. Beaches in Miami are popular worldwide and if you don’t want to spend a fortune on your vacation, book cheap flights to Miami and accommodations at least a couple of months in advance. Just beyond the South Beach is the Art Deco District, where you can marvel at the views of the pastel buildings from the 1930s and early 1940s. The neighborhood is popular for its dining and shopping scene.

St. Petersburg

Another popular destination in the Sunshine State, St. Petersburg also offers all the fun to beach lovers without disconnecting from the world. Here, you can beat the heat, soak up the sun and once you have the fill of the beach, head to the city and enjoy dining at renowned shops and shopping at unique shopping markets and art galleries. You should book your cheap airline tickets to St. Petersburg and head to the Pass-a-Grille Beach for kiteboarding, parasailing, and windsurfing, along with many other activities – You may need to know what is the entrepreneur’s view of traveling after covid 19 ends.

Clearwater Beach

Known for its gentle water and white sand, Clearwater Beach is a great choice for family travelers. You and your young companions can swim and lounge and also play volleyball. A Beach Walk promenade adjacent to the sandy stretch is the site to watch local kids rollerblading and biking.  Since Clearwater Beach is acclaimed amongst family travelers, finding cheap airline tickets or last minute flights may be an uphill task. Better plan your vacation in advance to enjoy a budget-friendly escape.

Naples

Looking for a place that has some unique attractions other than just the sandy stretch? Then book plane tickets to Naples. The city on the Gulf of Mexico features an amazing range of gourmet restaurants, boutique shops, golf courses, and so much more. Naples is known for its high-end shopping complex. Though vacationing here is slightly expensive, beaches are free for everyone. Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park is a nice place to indulge in a wide range of activities, including wildlife viewing, snorkeling, and much more.

Sanibel Island

If you want a part of a breathtaking beach for yourself and do not want too many people hovering around you, book airline tickets to Sanibel Island. It’s hard to find more secluded and quieter beaches anywhere else in Florida. You wouldn’t find loud music or parties on the beach, and you can spend a day or two collecting shells on the beach. Lighthouse Beach Park, just off the beach, houses a 19th-century lighthouse and offers excellent photo opportunities. Punta Gorda Airport is located about 60 miles away from Sanibel, and many low-cost and ultra-low-cost airlines offer plenty of cheap airline tickets to Sanibel.

Clearwater Beach

Want to escape the city rush and the humdrum of daily life? Pick this beach on the Gulf Coast along the western shores of Florida. Along with idyllic activities such as swimming, walking, and soaking up some sun, the stretch of soft sand also offers jet-skiing, parasailing, and paddle boarding in its tranquil waters. Pier 60, adjacent to the promenade, is a great site for enjoying scenic sunset and evening crafts and live entertainment.

Clearwater Beach

Cocoa Beach

This beach on Florida’s Atlantic shore draws those who like braving the waves. The waves here create perfect opportunities for kiteboarding, surfing, and parasailing. The beach features guards and is safe. It is far from the shiny skyscrapers and traffic-clogged roads. Once you have your fill of the sand and the ocean, visit the nearby Kennedy Space Center and some notable museums. Cocoa Beach is one of the popular family vacations in Florida, and therefore you should book cheap flights at least a couple of weeks in advance.
