A management office, the reflection of your company!

Forget about heavy, huge and impressive executive furniture and the common style spread across the entire company. Today the design of your office must be anchored in your image, as a leader.
While you’re free to choose any design for your office, the most popular one is a minimalist and modern style because you have to free up a lot of space to give the office a good impression.
The most important part is, of course, the fact that this is where you spend a lot of your time and sign important contracts. It must therefore be comfortable and presentable.
Designing a management office is no easy task and so this post will teach you how to design an executive office that gives a good impression about your company.
The function and image of the executive office
Designing an executive office is a crucial step, all the elements in that office tell people a lot about you. It will not only reflect the image of the company/manager, but it’s also a workspace that serves several purposes. For example, it must be large enough with as much storage space as possible.
The executive office can even hold a meeting if it is large enough.
Choose the right design and materials
The style and materials of the office should be carefully chosen, depending on the image you want to create about your business. It should be well lit to avoid dark spots in the room. Also, the same design should be used across the entire company. For example, if you opt for Scandinavian furniture, the same style should be used in the entire office and company.
The furniture should not only be attractive but it should be comfortable for both you and your visitors. For instance, you can opt for wooden furniture or those with wood finishes. Such desks, tables, chairs or cabinets are strong, durable and attractive. Those made of glass are also elegant but delicate, and so they can be break easily.
How can you choose the right size of your office?
You must ask yourself the following questions when choosing the right size of your office:
- Do I need a lot of storage?
- What shape should my desk have and will best suit my space?
- What type of executive chair or office seats should I choose?
A manager might choose an office with a trendy style. Of course, there are several office sizes, designs, and shapes of desks or seats. However, the following features will make a good office.
The monochrome office
The monochrome office is a safe bet! Indeed, if you are not a big fan of colors you can opt for the monochrome desk. The design also creates a sense of space. You can go for black or white or contrasting colors based on your taste.
A glass executive desk
Glass is a refined and elegant material. Furniture made of glass can easily blend well with any decoration and environment.
However, it’s a delicate material and requires a lot of maintenance to keep it always clean.
A wooden executive desk
Opt for wood if you’re looking for comfort, durability and low maintenance. Wooden furniture is not restrictive and so it can go well with other materials like glass, or leather.
Essential elements to organize your workspace
Aside from the furniture, there are other elements that you need to keep your office looking attractive:
- Good storage space: you have to stay well organized to be successful. So have enough cabinets to store your files and other documents;
- Have a comfortable office chair: you will be spending several hours at the office, so you must sit comfortably;
- Visitors seats: of course, you will receive visitors, so think about their seats;
- A meeting space: if you have a lot of space, you can opt for another meeting table;
- The window: you should have a large window that can allow enough natural light and keep your office well ventilated.
