We are all the same!

When we chat with our friends, when we read magazines, or newsletters like MyLittleParis or MerciAlfred, we discover lots of new addresses that we want to try (restaurants, shops, bars, etc.). But in the end, we forget them, because we don’t know where to write them down …

Forget the post-its, the cutouts, the notes all over the place:

The operation:

Mapstr has been designed to be super easy and super fast to use!

Want to save a new location? You have the choice :

• Start writing the beginning of their name or address, and we’ll take care of the rest.
• Choose a place right next to you by geolocating yourself
• Better yet, take a picture of the address in a magazine, and Mapstr will recognize it automatically 🙂
• Or, finally, just tap a point on the map, right where you want to write the address!

Then you choose as many tags as you want to classify your addresses (#resto, #burgers, #tendance, #cosy, etc.), and you’re done! You’ve just saved a new location in less than 5 seconds!

Mapstr will then automatically retrieve the photos, phone number, opening hours and all location data, you don’t have to do anything …

By definition, Mapstr is global! Our users have already used Mapstr all over the world, with 40% of connections outside France.

Who are your competitors:

Our real competitors are the historical players…. pencil and paper, chisel, notepad … and more modern actors like the camera or iPhone notes.

Some of our users hijacked some apps like Foursquare to register their addresses, but it was very inconvenient … so they imported all of their listings into Mapstr!
