Startup de Risk Partners Expands to EMEA After Surpassing $1M in First-Year Revenue

Founded by a group of former compliance leaders from Citigroup, Barclays, and Goldman Sachs, de Risk Partners has quietly marked its first anniversary with over $1 million in revenue and newly announced plans to expand internationally.

Launched in March 2024, the regulatory consultancy has grown by supporting regional banks, fintech startups, crypto exchanges, and credit unions in navigating a fast-changing compliance landscape. The company is now establishing an EMEA base and will sponsor upcoming regulatory events in Singapore and Dubai, aligning with a broader push to serve financial institutions across international markets.

The firm has also announced development of an AI tool designed for compliance professionals, intended to help users quickly access regulatory guidance and reduce the time spent interpreting complex frameworks. “We’re looking at how technology can support compliance as a strategic function, not just a requirement,” said Ravi de Silva, CEO of de Risk Partners.
