Solitaire

How to play solitaire? Are you familiar with online games? If so, you might have played a card game known as Solitaire. There are different popular solitaire versions, such as Klondike Solitaire, Spider Solitaire, FreeCell Solitaire, Pyramid Solitaire, and more.

I also play them to pass the time as I wait for someone, when queuing or tired. Aside from keeping you busy when you are extremely bored, playing Solitaire has other benefits that you will be excited to know.

Why is it good to play Solitaire? Here are the reasons.

How Does Playing Solitaire Help Your Brain?

Keeps You Busy: Boredom can make your brain get agitated and grow weary. However, a single click on your laptop or smartphone can direct you to Solitaire and send boredom out of the window.

Gives You Time to Simmer Down: Solitaire will help you with self-reflection and your brain to unwind without other people’s opinions.

Calms the Mind: Get into a meditative state with Solitaire. Solitaire gives you something else to focus on, thus diffuse any tension in your body and mind.

Why is Playing Solitaire So Fun and Even Addictive?

As mentioned, Solitaire helps you take a break from work or escape boredom or stress. You can easily learn, play and win in Solitaire. Winning a few games gives you a dopamine rush which makes playing Solitaire addictive.

This online game has a learning curve, and you can see how you improve over time. I play Solitaire Spider when I am bored or tired. Every time I win one level, I set new goals because I want to beat my own scores. Each successive high score gives me a dopamine rush.

On the other hand, I try not to get addicted by setting rules and ways to win.  You, too, can enjoy playing Solitaire because it’s a great recreational tool.

Is Solitaire a Game of Luck or Skill?

You need a strategy to win in Solitaire. So formulate one based on Solitaire Card Game Rules in order to succeed in arranging the entire pack accordingly.

A bit of luck is involved because you don’t know what the underneath card will be when uncovered. So no matter how skilled you’re at the game, some luck is involved, as some people claim.

Why is it Good to Play Solitaire?

Solitaire is not as strategy-minded or complex as chess, but it helps to improve your overall mental functions. You can’t win in any Solitaire game without a strategy and coming up with a winning one gives you pleasure because it’s just a fun game to play.

Still, there are other fun games that you can try aside from Solitaire; these include mahjong games, hidden object games, card games like hearts, euchre, crazy eights, gin rummy, etc.

I enjoy playing hidden object games too. This site has a variety of online hidden object puzzle games such as hidden princess and circus adventure. This has instructions on how you can play and win Solitaire or any other online game.

Like me, the online games will make you enjoy queueing at the bank, grocery store, and commuting to and from work. Actually, these activities will be short and enjoyable with Solitaire.
